We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 bath quad with our college kids and it was perfect. Great location and amenities for inner Venice. The WiFi was excellent and secured unlike other places in Italy. My one recommendation for the hotel staff is regarding the breakfast. It could easily be much better. We did the later seatings and the eggs were usually gone and very little meat remained. The staff was lovely in every area from the front desk to housekeeping. Also it’s a few doors from a laundromat which is excellent for us since we travel with carry on only.

The hotel is located in the center of Venice in a strategic point nearby all the things you want to do in Venice. The rooms are beautifuly furnished, small but ergonomic and very clean. Breakfast is very good. The only problem is that the bathroom doesnt have ventilation or window (this explain the 4 star). For the standards of Venice the price is OK.

Shops close by and the small gated area was so pretty. Our belongings were safe there beyond checkout and they were very accomodating and kind.

Location was far from nearest train station (30 minutes walk) and not many good amenities.

We chose a simple "no frills" room (CDN $ is so weak to the EUR) and it was just that but it was clean and comfortable. Nothing like what the website pictures show. Room 101. All of the staff were super friendly. The breakfast was a great experience and our host was excellent. No complaints there. A very personal experience compared to what we're used to in North America. Make sure you have a data plan (Google) because that is your lifeline to finding the hotel.
We loved Venice. Thank you Hotel Al Piave for making our first stay a memorable one.

The staff of this hotel were very nice. Shopping, restaurants very accessible if able to walk (Venice is difficult in general for anyone with mobility issues). Area was safe and quiet. Elevator did not go to our floor and shower door opening was very small. Our rate included a very nice continental breakfast. Use the S. Marco-San Zaccaria water bus stop for easier access.

Our stay was excellent the staff was great and breakfast was delicious there were plenty of choices including eggs, pancakes, cereal, fruit, pastries, croissants, and other good items. We were also happy to have ice water at breakfast along with coffee and hot chocolate and milk. Our room was very nice and the AC works great. Close to all the main attractions and a 10 minute walk to the public boats. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent use of compact space. Staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. Good breakfast. Location fantastic for exploring Venice - and then getting out of the crowd. Walls between rooms a bit thin so you and your neighbors will need to be on good behavior. Would definitely stay again.

A super convenient hotel close to St Mark’s. The staff were lovely - Claudia checked us in and was extremely pleasant.
The rooms are Venetian style and there was a nice selection of food at the buffet breakfast.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
