Hotel Giudecca Venezia

This was a last minute booking for us. We were there March 31 to April 2. We changed plans at last minute and headed to Venice instead of Lyon. What a treat! This is our new favorite hotel! Staff was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious. Shower was the best. Very powerful and hot! Food was excellent. Quiet, peaceful, friendly island. It is away from all the tourists but close enough to get there if you want. Best hotel on our trip! Thank you to the staff. The best.

Cosy hotel in a quiet part of town. Staff easily available, very friendly, competent and attentive - reception staffed 24/7.
Good, comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast buffet (for the hotel size and for local standard) in a nice, bright atmosphere.
Located in a quiet part of town on a nice little square. Still, the stop for line 2 and line 4.1/4.2 ferries (direct from Santa Lucia railway station) is only a 5mins walk. Good selection of restaurants and bars/cafes available in easy walking distance.
Two sides of the hotel are on a canal. Depending on conditions, canals have a smell, which is of course something the hotel cannot influence. We did not mind and enjoyed the view of the local small boat traffic.
We stayed for six nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel Giudecca was a great base for us to explore Venice and bathe in the atmosphere.

Hotel is alright, albeit hard to find! It is located on the far side of Venice so you need a ferry to get there. Rooms are clean and staff is helpful. The breakfast was nice but pretty much the same every single day. I would only recommend this hotel if you’re tight on budget.

A few stops from St.Marks square on the vaporetto but a million miles away from the hype and expense of Venice. Such friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms. If possible pay the little bit extra for one with canal view. We opened up our windows and listened to the water and just a few boats going by all night. Very comfortable beds.Good continental breakfast and the front desk team are very helpful. We really had a true Venetian experience but by staying on Guidecca Island it was quieter, less expensive and the people were much more friendly. We will definitely return. The island has loads of lovely restaurants and as long as your flight doesn't come in too late( after 11pm) easy to get to. There is a night service on vaporetto but it runs less frequently. During the day you rarely wait more than 10 minutes for one.

Very pleased I decided to stay with hotel Giudecca Venezia. The room I stayed was big and very clean every day. Breakfast was absolutely fine. Staff polite and friendly. Recommend.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast sufficient to start the day well. Only complaint is that WiFi is only available in the reception area and we found the room a little chilly on the first night.

without wifi on the room ((( It's very bad for people who want have beer and use wifi on the room. But rooms very comfortable. personal very hospitality. I recommend you this hotel

Hotel was fine. Quick walk to vaporetto stop and Giudecca had its charms. Only bad part was our room was basement like with one window at street level. Wifi just in lobby. Staff helpful
