One of the most beautiful hotels in Venice. We love the concierge, staff was so nice, we got a beautiful tour, and the rooms and views are spectacular. The beds were extra comfortable and there were so many complimentary surprises.
They also had heated towel rods and floors in the bathroom with full shower and soaking tub. The bar and restaurant were excellent and do not skip out on the Venetian to order and buffet breakfast. Staff was very helpful with suggestions, accommodations, and helping us set up taxis and ferry rides. It was an amazing way to spend our anniversary.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Wonderful and friendly service, knowledgeable concierge, great rooms. Breakfast on the terrace is worth a separate mention. It is hands down the best hotel breakfast we have ever had anywhere!

Without a doubt the best hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The service was impeccable. The rooms were spacious and very nice! The bathrooms have to be seen all clad in marble.
We enjoyed sitting outside on the grand canal for drinks and to watch the action. The breakfast spread was incredible. Probably a once in a lifetime experience for us.

The Gritti Palace is so beautiful and the service we received during our stay was outstanding. Ivan Schultz, the head concierge, absolutely saved us with our travel plans heading to Sorrento. He went above and beyond making new flight arrangements for us. I was super nervous and he made sure we had all the information we needed during our travels to make sure that we were safe. I told him when we were leaving that if we only stayed at that Hotel and did nothing else while I were in Venice, our trip was absolutely worth it! We will definitely travel back to Venice just to stay there.

A memorable experience start to finish. The entrance, while brimming with luxurious decorations, art, and flowers, felt welcoming and comfortable. The room had a balcony along the square and offered a view onto the canal. We were gifted the most beautiful plate of perfectly ripe cherries. Our breakfast buffet was delicious and the service during was attentive, but not overbearing. This is a wonderful hotel and dining experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic and carefully decorated rooms! It's like sleeping in a museum! The views over the Piazza are also a great way to see beautiful Venice right from your window.
Laura was extremely helpful during the check-in process, answered all of our questions and gave us useful suggestions. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and ready to help.
If you have time, make sure you visit Club del Doge, the hotel's bar and restaurant (preferably around sunset time) and catch an unforgettable view of Venice's grand canal.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and this was certainly one of the highlights of our visit to Venice.

Beautifully decadent and opulent. The best breakfast view we have ever had. It you want to treat yourself and don’t mind the high prices, then this is a lovely place to stay.

One of the most magical hotel experiences I’ve had anywhere. Rooms and suites are gorgeous. Details in the furnishings and amenities are both meticulous and luxurious. Of course, the location on the grand canal is second to none. Yet what sets this property apart is the service. Prompt, friendly, and endlessly capable, the team at the Gritti is world class. The concierge team in particular are highly knowledgeable and proactive in their approach. Michele, Marcello, and Umberto went above and beyond at every turn during our stay.

Amazing experience. We spend our 5th wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty. Complimentary bottle of champagne, great room upgrade with grand canal view, amazing service. Wish could have stayed longer. Highly recommend specially for those with good Marriott status
