The hotels 45 guestrooms and 51 suites are in three separate but very close buildings - the main hotel - Palazzo Vendramin and the Palazzetto. The Palazzo and Palazzetto are a very short walk from the Main Hotel building through a beautifully landscaped courtyard Palazzo Vendramin is a 15th century building that offers several stunning views across the lagoon to St. Marks Square as well as being appointed with several priceless antiques and works of art The Palazzetto offers similar views and is equally well-furnished. Hotel: The grounds are beautiful and spacious. There are lovely gardens and the pool is huge. It is very quiet by the pool, and we found it too sleepy for us.
Room: Our room was spacious. There was plenty of closet space. The TV has chromecast which is nice for watching TV at night. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The bathroom was large but the actual shower was small compared to the size of the bathroom. The A/C didn't work as well as it should for a 5 star hotel. We woke up sweating every night and it never really cooled down the 4 days we were there.
Service: This was the weakest area of the hotel in my opinion. No one was rude but you didn't feel the above and beyond approach you would expect from a hotel at this price point. The highlights were the pool waiters and the guys who work the boat stand.
Food: The food by the pool was good. The service by the pool was slow considering the number of people working there to the number of guests.
Room Service: The room service food wasn't near as good as the food by the pool or restaurant. The pasta was bland and cold. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special.
