Palazzo San Lorenzo in Venice

We really liked this hotel. The location was perfect, city center. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The service was very friendly, they helped us with everything. The breakfast was very tasty. We will definitely recommend this hotel. You are the best!

This was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is very polite and helpful. It is a short walk to the Grand Canal and Saint Mark's square.

Great location! Very comfy bed and the room was fantastic!! The breakfast is super yummy with lots of bits to choose from. We had a problem with our Aircon but the hotel staff were very attentive and got it fixed right away.

We stayed on 11 May 2025 for one night. Overall a great experience. Some suggestions
1) Hotel needs a better sign for people to figure out the name
2) The Map they provide does not help in navigating because I could not see most of the landmarks mentioned on the map
3) Better services for housekeeping

We loved the Palazzo San Lorenzo. Our room was stunning. Beautiful paintings, Old vintage King bed and the canal view was amazing. From the moment you arrive from the airport by boat they treat you like royalty. It’s located in the Centre of the Venice. Great location, really pleasant and clean big rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Specially this men is an Asset to the this hotel. He is there on reception counter and 24/7 available. Very hard working and generous guy. Over all The location is close enough touristy stuff and shopping, restaurants and very close from St Marks Square. Over all great experiences. Will surely recommend to stay here !!

Amazing staff, clean rooms, great location and fantastic breakfast. 100% stay here when you are in Venice!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, just a 5-minute walk from San Marco Square. The service was exceptional, and I want to express my gratitude to the staff member on duty on 23.12.23. He was incredibly helpful, pleasant, and nice.

Arriving in Venice around 01:00 without a hotel reservation, we decided to explore and found this gem. Despite a disappointing experience with another hotel administrator, this place completely turned our perception around.

The room was delightful, comfortable, and well-maintained. The cleaning service was commendable. A highlight was the coffee machine in the room with excellent coffee. The bathroom was clean, beautiful, and equipped with comfortable slippers.

The location was ideal, close to San Marco Square yet in a quiet area. However, there were a few minor inconveniences:

There was no mirror in the room; the only one was in the bathroom.
The water in the shower sometimes didn't get warm enough for a comfortable shower.
On the last day, the TV didn't connect to the internet, causing some inconvenience. However, the hotel reception graciously provided us with a free breakfast as compensation.
Speaking of breakfast, it was outstanding – delicious with a pleasant staff. The coffee was especially noteworthy; I would stay longer just for that (don't forget to ask for filter coffee during breakfast).

We stayed here for 2 nights in October. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a perfect stay. The staff were kind, friendly and super helpful. They offer organized trips from reception if you're interested but no pressure to book. We were given an upgrade to our room which was amazing, room was a good with a seating area and huge bathroom/shower, the bed was really comfy too.
Breakfast was a buffett and there was so much choice and everything was lovely. The staff at breakfast were super friendly too.
The hotel itself is in a great location we were never too far from where we wanted to be (despite walking for miles over the 2 days). There's a couple of restaurants and shops directly opposite over that canal bridge but there's also numerous shopping and eating options in the streets and squares nearby.
I really wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
