Grand Hotel Royal

This was a spectacular hotel with a great location in Sorrento, beautiful pool and seating areas, and a truly gorgeous room! Gian Luca was the gentleman who checked us in and gave us a tour around the hotel amenities, and we were generously given a room upgrade for our two night stay to a gorgeous suite, which was such an unexpected and kind gesture! Will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area, and would love to be back very soon.

Stylish, luxurious, discrete and surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Royal is an opulent oasis on a quiet boulevard off the main Sorrento thoroughfare.

Great hotel in an almost central location in Sorrento. The central area and port are within a couple of minutes (walking distance).

The room has a bit of an old design; however, the sea view room gives a wonderful view of the gulf of Naples.

Service of the hotel staff was good too.

This hotel was part of a Costco package so we were not aware of how amazing it was before hand. We came to Sorrento because of the package but when we return it is because of this hotel. The service is the best I have had. Breakfast is amazing and authentic itilian while offering items from more countries. The beach area is rockey but has a great view and great staff to support. The view overall from the hotel is amazing.

I will plan a return trip with this as the focal point, it is a unique hotel and the staff makes it into a destination not a place to sleep.

We had an incredible experience staying at this hotel! The location was perfect and ideal for both relaxation at the beach and walking distance from shops and restaurants in town. The service was impeccable! Big shout out to staff member Ermina for always recommending the best restaurants and in general being so sweet and accommodating to make our visit so special and memorable! Will definitely be staying here again!

Excellent establishment. Everything is fine. Hotel, restaurant, park, swimming pool and private beach. Everything that is described on the hotel website is true. The staff are also very pleasant and will do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We have stayed at this hotel 2 times already and will return. This is a quiet haven.

A real fairy tale. Cool place, tastefully decorated, great staff. Excellent cleanliness and attention to detail. The outdoor spaces are well maintained and will make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The descent to the private beach is thought-provoking

We chose the Grand Hotel Royal as the location for our wedding. The hotel has a magnificent sea view terrace with breathtaking views, elegant and bright interior rooms and direct access to the sea. The structure is really thought out to the smallest detail, with very beautiful furniture. Chef Giacomo de Simone pleased the guests with excellent taste and aesthetic dishes (we received and receive many compliments). In organizing the event, we were supervised by Mr. De Gennaro, assisted by Valentina, who was able to give valuable advice for the perfect success of the evening. Everything was perfect, especially our compliments to the pastry chef who baked for us a magnificent cake that took our breath away. We still want to thank Mr. Delfino for his kind support in organizing the rooms; Maitre Rafaele, who provided impeccable room service; housekeeper and all highly qualified staff up to the category of the hotel. We sincerely thank you, we will return to you in this magnificent place to celebrate our anniversaries. Marco and Paola
