Later, I stay 2 nights for vacation during Chinese New Year, we got red envelope too. The hotel provided us very good experiences for our vacation.
The rooms were pretty big. In our return trip from Siem Reap to PP we were supposed to have reservations but they didn't have anything on this booking and had to find me a room. I had email confirmation so that helped. It wasn't a big deal after we knew we had a room. Call and confirm reservations I guess. Anyway, this room (707) had issues with the shower that flood the bathroom so nothing was put on the floor during showers. There was also a patch of black mold behind the sink. I suspect that is related to the shower. Even if you fully aim the water low there was still a water world when I got out. Maybe it's just how showers work here.
The beds were nice. They give you water to put in the fridge and there is a grocery store on the ground floor.
Outside the hotel are many places to get a massage. Everyone is wearing uniforms so I assumed correctly they are legit and I got my best massage for the trip right outside the hotel.
It's a bit of a long ride to get to the riverside. Since it's vacation and I had no where to be, I didn't mind. Just an opportunity to people watch for 20 or 30 minutes. It's good to know though.
The last night we ate the hotel restaurant. I didn't end up eating my Curry Chicken because it was not very good. The kids enjoyed a pizza and french fries. So it's hit or miss on having a positive outcome here.
Overall a great hotel with some opportunities to improve.
Hygiene: Still good.
Environment: There are Chinese restaurants downstairs, convenient for life.
Service: Not bad. Normal check-in, fast, all the information has been prepared in advance.
