The location and the little beach just in front of the facility was superb and the free bikes we were provided was great to take a stroll around the bay which we enjoyed much. The owners were friendly and they always checked if we were comfortable. However the room we had had very little windows so it was dark despite being on the 2nd floor. The ground of the shower was leaking, it definitely needs...

I like it very much. The owner and his assistants will make you feel right at home. Location class. The bay is 15 meters away. Center and old town 15 minutes walk. Food is on every corner, where everyone is glad to see you. There are no problems in the language. I advise everyone to come to Ukraine.

In our opinion it was great clean environment warm hosts and beautiful Adriatic sea.

The views of Kotor bay was AMAZING. We were able to see cruise ships coming and going from the port. The distance from the old town of Kotor made it very easy to get to and from. If you wanted to walk to the water it was a few blocks, but all uphill on the return.

It was not very bad experience. Its location is really great. But the place is just enough for stay 1 night.

Small rooms, but for 3 Persons (small family) it's ok. The price per night was just 30 € without breakfast.

Nice people, basic but really central and comfortable

A really nice stay. The Balcony is spacious, we could enjoy the gorgeous view comfortably. When you want to take a swim, you just have to cross the street and enjoy the clean water :) The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Thanks a lot!

A place we would go back. Gorgeous view from the balcony to the sea and the mountains. Has it own beach and it is just on the other side of the road. The road is quiet. It has a shared well equipped kitchen. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A little shop nearby. The host is awesome, helpful and really like to talk in a good way.

Stayed there in Aug 2021. Good location a bit outside of Kotor, probably a twenty minutes walk, however there is a bus once an hour. The place offers a small pool behind the house but it's not a pool to stay there a whole day. Adorable place to stay when in Kotor. Aprox. 35 min walk to actual town of Kotor. Marcovic is located in a small, nice and quiet willage of Muo. The owners are most kind and helpful hosts that i have ever met. You really can depend on their help in everything. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. And view from the balcany is breath taking. I really recommend this one!

We didn't stay here but we did go to the rooftop resturant at the top of the wall and it was stunning! we had a beautiful lady serve us, she was so friendly and welcoming. We have traveled all around Montenegro this trip and this was by far the absolute best service we have had, and not just us, all the tables around us. We all ordered pizza and it was honestly the best we have ever had, so fresh....

Brilliant food, beautiful location, and some cats! I ordered a tuna steak, and it was one of the nicest fish dishes I've ever had. The grilled veg side dish was also worthwhile. Service was good, and the views were really lovely. One of the most panoramic spots in Kotor. We paid 50 euros for two, so not the cheapest, but it was worth it overall.

Has the opportunity to visit Hotel Cattaro, but only to enjoy an outdoors balcony dinner. Great food, good local wine, super waitress. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner.

A truly romantic and genuine hotel in the port of Old Town of Kotor. Good to know would be that it is in the middle of a restaurant plaza and can be a bit noisy, but it stops before midnight. Wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel. Staff is a 5 star!

Historic building actually on the old town walls (formerly the town hall, damaged in the 1979 and earlier earthquakes). Ideal location in Old Town Kotor. This is a restaurant review not the hotel. Some dishes ok but some were a but bland. The calamari was good but the risotto was flavourless and lacked some of the advertised ingredients. Service was ok. Maybe we just got a bad dish in the risotto.

Very good hotel in the middle of old town close to all the important sightseeing points and restaurants. Room was small but good. Receptionist anja and jelena were very helpful and supportive. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location in the main square. Decent included breakfast (but it would be nice if served outside rather than inside the hotel). Rooms are high quality but the bathroom was very cramped. Parking here is challenging - we had to park temporary somewhere then get a key card, then repark.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It’s just few steps away from the old town gate so it’s very convenient getting in and out. It’s very close to restaurants and shops. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast has a decent selection. But I find the room a bit dark and the price was bit expensive. There was also no coffee maker facility nor free bottled water in the room.

Although its location is great, it was thought that the service and the hotel's poor condition would not attract attention by simply hiding behind the location advantage. But that's not exactly the case. Because the walls of the hotel are thin and the windows are wooden and uninsulated, you are longing for a restful sleep due to the noise. Room was relatively nice, lacking selection at breakfast but it did change day to day. They have a GREAT laundry service where you fill a designated bag for €5 and you get it back the next morning through house cleaning. We honestly expected to get our clothing back just shoved back into the bag or roughly folded but everything was folded and packed into the bag nicely and they even matched our socks...

Situated on the seaside road Hotel Sara was a great place for few day stay at the Kotor bay. The staff was friendly and our room was clean and modern. Nearby you can find nice restaurants for drinks or food. Parking in front of the hotel. Modest but satisfying breakfast was included. Ask for Nicola at the reception for transportation!

Perfect place , very friendly and professional staff, amazing sea view and a lovely breakfast. The beach is at the front of hotel and u get beach towels as-well 😀, walking distance to shops and restaurants. All in all perfect in every sense 👍🏻

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in kotor, highly recommend this. Beautiful hotel, with great scenery right outside your balcony. Nice area for swimming, and hotel staff very pleasant. It’s about a 45 minute walk along the water to old town, if you want some exercise. Also, they make some amazing cakes!

The hotel is lovely and the service excellent. At this level though, it is the little things that make either really special or just a place to stay. All of the detractors were in the bathroom: plastic cups, an air freshener in the mirror (these rooms are touted as fitted by noted designers (Kenzo for our room)) the shower glass was water spotted, and the towel rack was pulled out of the wall. I just went to the restaurant and it was the highlight of the trip. One of the best seafood restaurants I have been too. Went for the tasting menu which was perfectly portioned. Wonderful service and amazing views. This was an incredible experience.

My weekend stay was expensive for the service and room. The room on the road side was very noisy with engine noisy by cars all the day, even in the evening until 22:00. We stayed here with a group tour. The rooms are in need of some serious renovation especially the leaky plumbing. But all the important things worked and I slept quite well with earplugs in. If you want to stay in the center of Kotor on a budget, this is a fine choice.
