Great location, clean and modern rooms, nice stuff. Breakfast wasn’t bad but wasn’t amazing either.

The hotel is maybe in the best location. I was happy when i found that there is a parking for the guests with low extra cost. Very nice and comfortable room.

Received a warm welcome from the host. The room was spacious and with all the facilities needed, including a fridge and microwave. The location is very good, close to the ferry and bus stop. There are many restaurants and bars close by. Happy with the choice.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooftop jacuzzi is a nice to have but the Aqualuna pool that is included for free from the hotel is great for travelers who want to sunbath without travelling miles for the beach. The location is brilliant as it is the first stop from the Airport Bus and the same bus stop takes you back to the airport as well.

Overall, the hotel is quite good with a convenient location and friendly staff who made the stay pleasant. However, there were a few drawbacks. The AC wasn’t functioning in late April, which made the room a bit warm (only centralized temperature regulation). Great stay, well located! Lovely room, and super well located. Easy walk to the Main Street / water. Beds were comfortable. I found it a bit warm in the room, the ac is controlled centrally, so was unable to adjust, but got a breeze through the patio door. Would stay again! There are many things that could be improved; the bed isn't comfortable, and for the price charged, I expected more. I wouldn't stay there again; for that price, there are better hotels in the area.

Stayed for studying abroad at IELS. I stayed alone in a studio-type room. It wasn't a hotel-type room, so I didn't feel particularly inconvenienced, but the shared kitchen and cooking utensils were dirty, so I only used them once. I stayed at this hotel for a school trip. The stay was very pleasant, the reception was always very helpful and courteous in meeting all our needs. The room was clean and the linen was changed frequently. Satisfying sweet and savory breakfast. Excellent solution for a study holiday!

There's no mini fridge. The bar is not very busy (after 8:30 PM, only coffee and water are served).

The deluxe double room has a toilet and shower room separated from the bedroom, which is quite good. But it is a little smaller than the classic double room, and there is only one large bed, not two small beds. Not a bad little apartment, clean and in a good area. Only issue is the building work right outside the property! Banging and drilling starts at 7Am.

I really liked the familiar atmosphere. The rooms where very clean and with new furniture. I liked everything and I am pretty sure to book a room at VelaBlu Boutique Guest House when coming back to Malta!

Perfect! Clean, Comfortable & very Convenient! Ingrid was the perfect hostess, very helpful, and the Guesthouse is close to excellent restaurants and shops! I stayed on a bunk bed, and there was no safety barrier next to it, so I was afraid I might fall. Other than that, it was fine.

I arrived late at night, but I was able to take the Airport Direct Bus to the nearest bus stop and there was almost no walking required.

You get what you pay for... very basic facilities, rather poor design and upkeep but a pretty convenient location and good price.

I visited here with my friend for 4 nights. It was very comfortable, nice quiet aircon, lovely beds, pillows and linen. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff they were all so friendly. Breakfast was so good on the rooftop terrace. Very happy with our stay here.

Lovely property! I would stay again!

We had a basic room no balcony but the room was excellent for our needs. Breakfast was well worth it and the staff very helpful. The local area is a little worn but it is only a 10 minute stroll to the bay and local shops close for essentials. Very useful to have a fridge and the air conditioner unit was very effective. The roof terrace was very relaxing.

It Is very clean, everything what you need you have in your room, excellent location, quite but still in the middle of everything, near all bus stops, markets and restaurants.

Room is clean and basic. Air con is great Hallway very noisy all morning with people hanging around in there. My room is a single near the entrance hall. Cant open the door to the outside area. Items left by others ( I think) wash up liquid, shower gel etc

You can see the idea for the place and the history. The damp has done its job, the bathroom shows uninteresting stains. A few things don't work. Staff very helpful.

Everything was really well organised whilst at Basecamp, a great place to explore Malta from. The pool was great for the kids (and adults) to let off steam and build friendships whilst only a 10-15 minute walk from St Georges or the supermarket (Greens). Janice is a great hostess, house keeper, sensitive attentive, caring & flexible! Accommodation is perfect. Food could be a bit more varied with more salad options at dinner but some very tasty meals.

Although the kitchen is rather limited in space to cook for bigger groups. From the main road parallel to the house only the moments of traffic jams and bus stops remind of an outer world. Great location, great property. Couple of hundred metres from water views and also old school baths cut in the rocks which are great to use to cool down. Stayed in the brand-new Annex. Restful sleep With 6 rooms in the brand-new Annex, I found all facilities in my room in excellent condition. Quiet and restful sleep. Unfortunately, no bathroom amenities. Would have preferred that even a toothbrush or toothpaste would be much appreciated.
