We had a nice stay but there was no pen or pencil provided in order to fill in the letter from the hotel and we did not have any dental amenities in the room other than that the rooms were amazing with good air conditioning, a minus being no smart tv in the room .
It's next to Gwolhanae Park, so it's a 5-day tour. It was convenient. The famous old town is about a 10-minute walk away. Tourist attractions, Galata Bridge dock, Grand Bazaar, etc. It was nice to be able to visit almost all the attractions. To get there from the airport, take the Harvest Airport Bus from the B2 floor and it takes about 1 hour. Get off at Aksaray Station, move right next to it, take...
Excellent hotel for the price. Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone who made us feel at home all the time
Really nice staff, the rooms was a bit small, so you had to watch your steps not to bump your toes on the bed. The bed was really nice though and the room had a small balcony facing the street. We thought there was no warm water, turned out there was a switch, which said NOT to turn off, but apparently it was switched off when we arrived. The room was clean, except for the lamppost and toilet-roll...
Staff incredibly friendly, the breakfast was excellent. We loved having the rooftop pool option. The cleaning staff did an excellent job every day. The only thing lacking was that the bathtub in our room kept leaking, so the floor was always wet.
Good decent hotel in St Julian's. We stayed here for 4 days. The staff were nice, however they made us pay extra for my wife as the hotel booking was for 1 person and not 2, despite there being no price difference if booking with 2 or 1

It was a break I really needed. Superb. Staff superb. Delicious breakfast and food all through. A break I would do again and again. Level of cleaning all the way. Covid measured all the way. Staff very friendly. Easy parking. Indoor and outdoor pool
Very old building which is too liking. Marble staircase and opulent.
This is a Victorian style Hotel. Great food and Buffets, very clean. The staff are nice people and very helpfull. Racomended to all ages of Tourists especially those who like British culture like me.
Between Sliema and St Julian's Bay approx 10 minutes walk each. Superb facilities and staff
Great hotel. Buffet style dinners....generally really good food. Have us a complimentary bottle of wine for my husband's birthday!!! The bar could use more staff though. Only 1 person on each night and they were run ragged. Overall a great experience and would come here again..
Food was great, staff really polite and friendly. Parking was not a problem with their parking areas underground. Overall a very pleasant evening

Great location, warm staff, beautiful room. Walkable to everything that matters in Valletta. It’s also near the Valletta-Sliema Ferry Terminal. I also loved that the bus terminal is about 10 mins away. No complaints. Malta is magnificent!!
Had a wonderful stay here: staff is terrific, location is the best and the hotel is very clean (cleaning lady is small but great at the same time!). The single room I had was a bit low on the windows (only a small window to the air duct) but that is the only minus I could think of. I definitely go again here!
The most beautiful hotel I Have ever been in there designer is amazing colour choices and decor, the thing that was disappointing was the noise ot the church bells through the nite and working early in morning in hotel. Would come back
The hotel is in a great location in Valletta a few minutes walk from the centre! However the building is quite old and the rooms need further refurbishment. The bathroom was very clean and towels were changed everyday! Breakfast with a big variety but nothing so special.
The rooms are typically small for Malta, but perfectly adequate. Plenty of storage space, bed a bit hard, but that will be a matter of taste. The only unpleasant thing was that it was always very hot in the room at the end of March, as the ventilation can only heat at this time. Everywhere very clean + instant coffee, tea, kettle and 2 free water bottles are in the room. The breakfast was varied and...
It is a fantastic small city hotel in the heart of Valletta. The staff were amiable and always willing to help. The room had everything you needed. There was a great selection for breakfast. Highly recommended hotel when visiting Malta.

It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. I arrived around 11:30 AM and left my luggage before check-in (2 PM) and went out for lunch. The ocean is right around the corner! When I returned at 2 PM, my luggage was safely stored. After checking in, I was assigned a room on the first floor, right in front of the door. I was worried about noise because it was right on the road, right in front...
Great location, short walk to waterfront and maybe 10 mins to all the restaurants but in a quiet neighbourhood. Great reception, room was spotless, comfie bed and pillows! The rate included breakfast which was really nice and fresh - staff at breakfast were lovely! Served on rooftop terrace which we really enjoyed. Staff super responsive to any queries. Highly recommend!!!
The exterior is simple and distinctive, and the interior has been renovated, clean and bright, combining old buildings with modern styles. The hotel is 50 meters away from the beach, and there are many bus lines that can directly reach the scenic spots.
I was quite satisfied with the room provided to me. However, I had a large unwelcome guest upon arrival. It was cleaned up and removed the next morning and all was good after that. I would recommend staying there and will again
It was clean and easy to use, but the only drawback was that it was hard to open the lock.
It's OK. The room is small and damp.

A unique, wonderful view from the hotel window to the capital Valletta. The service at the hotel is good. The operators are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the selection is quite wide. The biggest problem is that the pool is quite far from the hotel. There are also problems with parking at the hotel. But in general, everything is good.
The only good perk is the location which is located right by the ferry port and other companies ferry and the view from my room is amazing. Otherwise, the room is nothing like the pictures, very outdated and old. The lift is scary, it’s noisy and does not work properly. The room is dirty, floor is still dirty when I checked in. There are no anenities in the bathroom. The staffs are nice and helpful...
We stayed in the Superior Sea View room... terrace/ balcony with excellent views of the bay and the promenade of Sliema. The breakfast is delicious and varied, the reception staff is friendly.... But alas, the hotel room is in need of renovation, the cabinets without shelves are unfortunately unusable, the bathroom urgently needs more lights and an additional shelf for personal hygiene.... but I have...
Bad experience, there was no water in the room, we spent the day on a walk and we couldn't even take a shower, the staff didn't give us any option, we had planned to go out for dinner but I couldn't go, with salt water without a shower, the air conditioning lasts the night for ventilation, without bath and without air, chaos, I don't recommend it. Less consideration for the guest. Not to mention that...

Honestly can’t fault this place. Very good location and I got a beautiful view as kindly requested from my room. The decor is a bit worn however but for the price you can’t complain. This is paceville so expect to hear music in the night but it was perfect for me as I was right next to the *****. Doors are locked at night for safety.
I stayed at this hotel from the 8th September to 17th September 2025 with my sister. We didn’t realise it was going to be on the busy *****, however that didn’t bother us as we was there for an event. I really liked the area, as we was local to the shopping centre and local restaurants. We also got to explore the area and we felt really safe during our trip. I really like our hotel, our room was spacious...
Ok but noisy - party district location You pay for what you get, cheaper so expect bare minimum. The managers of the hotel were nice and helpful. This is a very noisy hotel. We initially had a room right at the front of the hotel. It feels like you are sleeping on the street, the noise comes straight in. You hear the road and the music. That night we didn’t get any sleep. We thankfully were moved...
People of the hotel are not kind. the pool opens at 10 and closes at 18. Why? because of the noise? This place is known for Heavy parties ( Bay street / Paceville) But i cannot swim at 19.00 strange.
Excellent reception, very comfortable, the structure is a bit dated.
Cheap price rooms. Hotel a little rusty but clean. Very close to the beach. And nice restaurants and bars really close.

Good Position at Sliema harbour , very easy to get a quickly boat to historic Valletta , many services there , restaurants , shops , groceries, waterfront opposite view valletta , to do special evening walk or Run , i find also quiet sleep in thursday and friday nights Stuff warm and welcoming . Bye from 🇮🇹

This really is a budget hotel and nothing more. Ideal for anyone looking to use this as a base for a bed and nothing else. It lies directly next to the nightlife in St Julian’s which caters for a very young crowd, so the hotel can be quite noisy at night when people are coming back to their rooms. The rooms are clean enough and the cleaners do a decent job. The hotel itself is surrounded by corporate...
Only stayed here for 3 nights. Did a small weekend away just me and my mate for the Malta nightlife. Amazing location just a 3 minute walk too the night life but also far enough for peace at night. Room was spacious ( comfort room) with everything we needed. Staff could’ve been more friendly but were helpful when needed. Not sure what all the bad complaints are about . You get what you pay for really
Lovely rooms with amazing air conditioning. However the fridge did not cool down drinks. The breakfast buffet is horrible and worst continental breakfast I’ve ever had
It was a lovely hotel, but unfortunately, at the time we stayed there, building work was going on in several locations close to the hotel, which sometimes started before 8 am. It was not the hotel's fault, but it did impact several of the guests. Some great places to eat nearby, and just a few minutes walk to two large casino's. Lots of clubs and bars for young ones and also a new shopping centre and...
the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, the staff was very nice throughout our stay. for breakfast i recommend the sweet pastries, we didn't really like the sausages. friday night was really loud but overall not too bad. i recommend it!!

If you’re looking for a basic hotel for a decent price, this is it. Don’t expect anything close to luxurious. Heck there isn’t even a mini fridge in here. The hotel is in a good location, but unfortunately there is a road construction nearby, which causes traffic jams and noise. The room is relatively large, but the toilet is small and the bathroom is small, but considering the price, it is acceptable to have a private bathroom.
Good location, convenient transportation, and the beach is just outside. The room facilities are complete, but a bit old.
Excellent location, helpful staff. Very clean.
Excellent value! The rooms are spacious and clean, well-equipped, and the location right on the waterfront is great, too. We booked online and then paid €10/night extra for a room with sea views. Breakfast for an extea €7 was very generous, too: baked beans, sausage, ham, cheese, eggs, cornflakes, fruit, cakes, 3 types of bread, etc.
Magical sea view Magical sea view from the balcony when the weather is calm but not when the weather is windy. The room was clean and mostly quiet but not when your room neighbored families during the weekend. You can use the coffee machine near reception for free Michael and Adriana at reception were very helpful.

The front desk staff were very kind. The room was very spacious with a terrace, and the hotel was very quiet. It's common for solo travelers to be given inconvenient rooms, but this wasn't the case here - we were given a room on the top floor with a great view. Great and comfortable hotel located in central Paceville. We stayed here with our infant son, they provided a crib, and had amenities like beach towels and converter plugs available. Delicious breakfast and great pizza restaurant attached. For the price, it's a great place to stay while touring around Malta.
We usually stay here when we come to Malta as it's almost in the middle of everything. The sea is 3 minute walk away. Any pizzeria is almost 3 minutes away, and if you want to eat at the Rokna anyway, they have a restaurant with great selections. Free parking for 1 hour. There are many things that could be improved; the bed isn't comfortable, and for the price charged, I expected more. I wouldn't stay there again; for that price, there are better hotels in the area.

I stayed in the Diplomat Hotel for 3 nights and it was basically "fine," but lots of things were just a little bit inexplicably broken.
