Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early. It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large...
The room was a lot smaller than we thought but it’s okay since we’re not in our room all the time anyway. The service however? Outstanding! Cannot thank the staff enough for the warm welcomes, excellent service and kindness especially to Kristian, Njambe and Marie who we met in the pool and then became our group tour host. All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta...
The rooms are amazing. Especially for Europe. The pool is a beach club. It’s loud and crowded not chill and relaxing like it looks in the photo, which was a big downer for me. They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service. Also, having the website for your code and stuff was a little...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space.
Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. We were always able to get a spot at the beach club and enjoyed the facilities there immensely. It is only a short walk away, though closes at 6.30pm.
The trips are a lovely addition but book up quickly - we managed to go on a sunset...
The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks!
Would come back next time we are in sliema.
Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!

Everything was great, distance, service, cleanliness and above all the hotel pool and spa.
The view from the room is amazing. You can use the outdoor pool across the street! It's spacious and special. The indoor pool is cold, and there is only one jacuzzi, so you need to be careful. I was worried about the smell of the water in the room. It's not a new hotel, so that was a bit of a concern, but the service and location are good, so I recommend it overall.
The hotel facilities are average. The location of Datang and the elevator feel a bit old, but the location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. It is worth recommending.
Overall is a nice place to stay, the only downside is the outdoor swimming pool is not on site. No evening entertainment, you will need to know where to go in the evening. Otherwise it’s a good hotel.
Lovely hotel, clean and tidy and in a great location, service from staff was great,
Had a lovely view of the city at night.
Bed was massive.
Everything was perfect, big clean rooms, lovely breakfast, nice internal and external warm pool, location just on the central road.

The hotel is in the center of the ancient town. The location is excellent. The rooms are beautifully designed. The service staff is enthusiastic. There is a beautiful swimming pool on the roof. The scenery outside is very beautiful. The night view is very beautiful
Sound from restaurants in Room 205
The room is nice and well-equipped. The window faces the inner courtyard, so there is no view, but it is relatively quiet and nice. The breakfast is very rich and the view from the roofbar is unbeatable, you can see the whole Valletta. The only drawback is that the hair dryer is too difficult to use
We had an incredible stay at the Embassy Hotel in Valletta, Malta. The service was exceptional—every need we had was met promptly by the friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.
One of the highlights of our stay was spending peaceful days on the rooftop terrace and by the pool. Although it was sometimes tricky to find available sunbeds, we managed to snag a couple on a few lucky occasions...
Quick stop here for dinner with views. Beautiful roof-top bar and pool, amazing view. Luxurious interior decoration and lots of friendly staff at the roof top bar. Delicious food, great ambiance after a busy long day. Recommended for a few days stay in Valletta.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I requested an early check-in through booking, and although it wasn’t confirmed via email, they said they would do their best. When we arrived, around 9 AM, the room was ready. It was absolutely perfect as we had been up since very early in the morning, and we managed to get some sleep before going out. Helpful happy staff, kind people . Breakfast is extremely basic but all you need to start the day.
Hotel very located, near to St. Julian's beach. Staff is also very good. Room is not large but it is OK for few nights.
Its well placed and was pretty much easy to get around from. Clubs/Bars just up the hill with more dotted around. Plenty of dining options around St Julian too, all easy enough to walk to.
The room was excellent, spacious and came with a balcony. This was extremely useful come the evening when wanting to relax. The bed was firm, but not overly which for me was perfect as it was. Only down side I could...
Shoreline Hotel was excellent. The staff couldn’t have been nice, when I discovered that they weren’t running any AC in the winter season, the front desk clerk still brought me a huge fan.
A lot of restaurants and beach shops line the street, and is a wonderful laundromat just 150’ from the hotel’s front door.
I liked this hotel. It was very reasonably priced, staff were friendly and helpful and my sea view room had a large and welcoming balcony. On the downside, it does not have much in the way of a foyer or other space for, say, working or a change of scenery. It does have a dining area for breakfast but I did not take breakfast and cannot comment on the value or quality of it. it’s also next door to a...

I recehad the good fortune to stay at the Alexandra hotel in St Julians Malta. The bedroom was lovely and clean and the buffet breakfast was ideal for the low cost stay. Thr reception staff was so helpful and accommodating and made sure I was collected in good time for my departure.
For a single traveller such as I it was in a handy spot to get buses to Sliema, Gozo ferry and Valetta.
Thanks to Patrick...
After reading the reviews here, I almost cancelled my reservation, but I'm glad in the end I didn't! I thought the hotel was pretty ok for the price, with excellent breakfast, the room wasn't super modern, but it was nice and clean, nothing was broken, there hot water kettle, the balcony was nice, it was possible to see the sea. There is outdoor pool, lounge area, and indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna...
I do not fully get the negative reviews. Yes its not the perfectest hitel on the Planet, but for me personally it was very nice. Everytime i addressed anything with the staff, it got immediatelly resolved. Breakfast was very noce and great quality, probably one of the best Ive had come accross. Maybe ita dependent on the season, but i have had zero issues that are mentioned here. Yes, its in the city...
The rooms were ok for a 3 star hotel. The pool and sauna were working, the pool is small for the number of guests, but again, the hotel has 3 stars. The view from the roof of the hotel is phenomenal. They take a deposit of 150e so be prepared for that. We did not see anywhere on the website that it says about a deposit. The staff is ok, they change towels every day.
Decent Stay with Room for Improvement
I recently stayed at this 3-star hotel and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel has 7 floors and features a rooftop pool (unheated), which is a nice touch for warmer days. There's also a small indoor pool with a side jacuzzi on the -1 floor, along with a sauna that unfortunately wasn't working during my stay. The gym is also located on that level, but...

Hotel is fine. Location is central but not easily walkable — fine if you have a car. Rooms are somewhat basic but very spacious. Lovely pool. But WIFI is terrible. Door lock was a pain to open — had to keep playing around with the card a few times. Gym is a small room but useable.
Nice hotel, which was spotlessly clean, with good facilities and pool .
We had a lovely stay here. As it was my 30th birthday they kindly upgraded us to a suite and surprised me with a chocolate dessert! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety. Staff were friendly and the spa was very relaxing! Location was ideal, slightly out of the centre but free parking. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Great facilities our room was spacious for 3 adults and liked the services, all the staffs were very friendly and enjoyed to stay with 1yo baby as well my family loved it!! Highly recommended :)
A Perfect Stay at Urban Valley Resort, Malta!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Urban Valley Resort in Malta, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was nothing short of exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The room we stayed in was absolutely stunning...
We stayed for 4 nights and we didn't miss anything. The rooms are very clean as well as the whole hotel itself. Staff members more than friendly and helpful. Food and drink wise there is a big variety of everything you'd like as well at the breakfast buffet.

Enjoyed a few days stay here at the Mercure. Just a street back from the busy food stalls and restaurants of Julian’s Bay. Nice modern hotel with a roof top pool and restaurant, staff were most helpful and parking was available on site. Room was fantastic - very spacious and every amenity required.
We were warmly welcomed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They regularly checked in to make sure everything was fine and offered their assistance whenever we needed anything. I would describe the hotel as ideally situated to the city centre, just few minutes walking distance from the sea and cafes, restaurants and shops. In terms of the facilities, the hotel can be rated as excellent since they ensure high quality standards are maintained when it comes to service, accommodating the needs of guests and going out of their way to ensure the guest has a pleasant experience...
We booked the privilege deluxe double room which we hoped would include some extra amenities but unfortunately the only element that felt privileged was being on a high floor. It was disappointing not to receive any additional benefits with our booking. Nonetheless, the room was a good size, modern, with a nice balcony and good air conditioning.
One big issue we had was the complete lack of storage...

Overall very good experience. The room was much more than I expected for the price and it was very comfortable. The location is great, since the hotel looks towards the sea which is so pretty.
Maybe the only downsides was that at times the breakfast area as well as the elevator were a bit crowded, but other than that all was perfect.
Nice hotel in front of the marina between Gzira/Sliema amd Manuel Island in Malta. Experienced and polite staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. A lot of cafes and restaurants around. Ferry is on walking distance. Bus station in front of the hotel to every part of surrounding cities, including Valletta, and the airport. A new 4* Novotel Carisma hotel under the same umbrella is about 200 meters away.
We loved this little hotel, great location, shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, perfect for transport links too. We found the room adequate, although the bathroom was a little small. 3 stars - like the Hotel.
Rooms are alright, but not very well decorated and thus seem large and empty. They are very well renovated, tho.

This a very good hotel and compares favourably with other hotels in this price range (good value for money). Friendly helpful staff, rooms were clean. We had a pretty good experience with this hotel! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast spread was amazing! The location was also great and within walking distance of plenty of things. The area was nice, room was big is like a small flat. It’s not room it’s good for big family
Economy single room is very small and there is a window which is facing to adjacent building wall. There is no natural light. Ferry gate to Valletta is across from the hotel and it is very convenient.
The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get around. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to the ferry that takes you to Valletta, and the surrounding area is very convenient. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a family room, which was spacious and included a fridge—very handy for longer stays.
+ The hotel very good in location
I booked earlier with eco room price 120€ but the day that i am check in price go down to 45€ that is very bad
They didn’t offer the upgrade room to us
The bed too small for 2 people
Room very small and noisy
Not worth for 120€ per night
Not recommended 😒
Helpful and friendly staff. The room was noisy because of the outside air conditioning, and the drainage of other rooms was very loud. The mattress was too soft to our liking, which I know is very subjective. The room was clean and fulfilled its purpose. Well situated near the harbour, restaurants, and shops. The adjoining restaurant has good quality food and service.
The hotel is in a great location🔝. The room was clean, the cleaning service was daily☺️The employees are very kind and approachable🤗.

Sleima and itis next to sea front
Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.
This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.
The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.

Indoor pool was lovely Outdoor pool area was good and fabulous views but the pool was to cold but it is November. Will stay again, definitely plus wonderful value. Perfect for a 4 day break in the winter👍
I returned to this hotel as a solo traveller because I knew the location, having been with my partner in 2017. Another reason was that the last time I was there, the terrace bar was open nightly in November with live music and a small dance floor. I presumed it woukd be the same and , as I was on my own, I'd feel more comfortable than in a public bar. The terrace bar was nit open. Very disappointing...
The hotel has an excellent location for exploring Malta, and the area where it is situated in Sliema is beautiful.
The room is clean, tidy, and spacious. You can get fresh towels every day.

The location is excellent, you can get to anywhere by bus. Maximum travel time is about 1 hour. The hotel is quite old, but we got a room after renovation. Brilliant location, clean, helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but that didn't bother me too much. Rooms were clean but could do with a bit of an update. I understand the financial pressures of the Covid lock downs so, again was not a problem for me.
I don't understand some of the reviews on here as my stay was just what I wanted, and for the price a bargain.
While underwhelming at first sight, give it a few days and its strategic location and kind staff will surely grow on you. Also the wi-fi is excellent.
Only stayed for 3 days, but for the price this hotel is great value, the location was good, room was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every day, the staff are extremely hard working and the reception staff could not have been more helpful, the breakfast was of a very high standard plenty of it and piping hot. Better than expected 👌One person can lie down in the king-size bed room. 🤭The front desk service attitude is good, the room is cleaned every day, and you can come and go at any time 24 hours a day.
When you need help (such as the phone can't be charged), the front desk will enthusiastically guide you and tell you how to get to the repair point.
We stayed 2 nights. The hotel was very clean, modern and stylish. Room was very clean and upgraded. Their breakfast options were fairly nice, especially their coffees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for soft pillows and they provided me with the soft one.
A good quality hotel on the popular Sliema promenade. Rates are reasonable and breakfast is quite decent.
It's quite clean, not very quiet, but it's quite convenient to go anywhere. The service is quite good. If you book a sea view room, remember to request a high floor, because the lower floors don't have a view of the sea at all. It's quite suitable for long-term stay. There is a park in front and many people walk there. It's very safe.
the room was super clean the staff was very helpful and nice the room also had everything you need for example towels, hairdryer, fridge... location is the best everything you need is in a 2km radius(supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beaches...) when we got there the hotel was just renovated so everything was super nice the price was also fair for the conditions and i would recommend it 100%

After reading a lot of negative reviews, I sort of feared having to stay here, however, after checking in and seeing my room, I couldn't quite understand why people were so negative. Its a budget hotel, yes, but for what you are paying its actually okay. For me it was fine and I am happy with my experience there.
Lifts were not always working. During my stay, i had a few days where I had to walk up and down the stairs a couple of times. One would get fun and then break again.
Hot water was not reliable. I had to leave running for half an hour before getting mild warm water.

The hotel is very well maintained. the seats in the lobby was pretty dirty. Mosquito was there. Didn't have the wire in the window. Transportation is good. There are buses from the front.
I stayed in August, the price paid, as aligned with the average in that area, does not justify the condition of the room that should be a bit renovated. For the rest of the staff has always been courteous and I had no bad surprise.

Depiro Point
Sliema, Depiro Street 🧭 Map
Comfortable apartment, good service, well equipped and it was quite close to every thing, parking in the area wasn't too bad but the place has parking but remember to book it if you need it
Nice and quiet place. Grocery shop at the door steps. Very close to Sliema promenade. Perfect for families with kids.
Very good location. Close to seaside bouleveard, restaurants, cafes and bus stops. Good grocery store on the other side of the street. In the apartment which we were renting (7th floor) there was a issue with water pressure and there was a bit too little natural light as for our taste. Overall, we can recommend though.
I cannot praise Depiro Point enough. I fly out regular for business and always request to stay here through my company. The staff Eloise and Heather are always so friendly and ensure my stay is welcoming and they cannot do enough for me. We are actually becoming friends. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a central location in Malta with staff who will bend over backwards to...
Good size rooms, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Apartment was very clean. As its on a complex can be a little noisy. Ours was top floor so got the sun on the balcony, lower ones probably not so much. Depending on position views may not be much although our rear balcony did have a nice view of St Julian's. Easy walking distance of St Julian's bay and Sliema. Good bus links.
This is a huge modern complex of apartments mixed with what seem to be student flats. The apartment we stayed in for 4 weeks (Block F, flat 7) was nicely finished and the block itself is pleasant, however can be noisy with music and children and seems to suffer some intermittent power problems at times. Despite this it was suitably placed and a decent base for our stay.

Very clean and spacious rooms with very good facilities. Excellent location closer to bus stops, restaurants and Paceville party district. Diana, at the front desk, is very cooperative and an amazing person and helped us feel welcome and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you Diana!!
Absolutely clean, great amenities & staff. Would love to come back.
Neat, clean, well decorated and great service by the staff. It was my first time at the hotel and the staff were very helpful in leading me to the location by sending one of their team members who took my heavy trolley and helped me reach the hotel. I received a welcome personalised message on a letter styled card by the hotel manager to make me feel welcomed. The room was nice that had a balcony ...
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast but there is water and a coffee machine always available. The room was lovey and the staff went to the extra effort of decorating the room for our anniversary and recent engagement, which was a nice touch.
Location wise it’s perfect for getting buses or going out at night.
We have just returned, new structure, welcoming room and equipped with everything. Breakfast not very abundant but quality. The staff is very kind Vanessa and Louis very professional and friendly. Only 2 flaws the room's fridge bar turned off, but you could use the kitchen fridge, lack of tablecloths for breakfast. I highly recommend it
We checked in on the 4th July for a week and were thoroughly impressed with their exceptional customer service from the get go. Paul, who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. He even went to the lengths of helping my partner choose a spot to propose at. Vanessa and Sergio both provided us with detailed recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. They were just genuinely nice staff...
