The rooms aren’t bad per se. There’s an AC and the beds are comfortable. Depending on the Block you live in you get different sized kitchens and different sized rooms. Gorgeous hotel, great location. Loved our room terrace overlooking the harbour. Had to complain about the shampoo being refilled with water but this was soon rectified by reception. Beautiful small hotel in old fortress. Our room was huge and had a lovely view over the harbour. Great breakfast, very helpful staff and nice area away from crowds but short ferry ride from Valletta. We loved our stay here! Highly recommended!

Nice house and great landlord who do the best for solve any problem! I can only recommend. Bus stop Colosso directly in front of the house and lot of places for parking close to the house as well. Close to Lidl 10 minutes away by walk and 3 Convinience shops 2 minutes away by walk. All other amenities very close to the house. One of the best strategical places if you want to travel around Malta.

I had a wonderful stay with Maureen and the team. They are very friendly and Maureen so helpful. I will definitely stay there next time I am in Malta, and will be recommending to anyone travelling.

A good spot for buses and a ferry. There aren’t very many dining options near here which makes it quite unsuitable for a long stay. The ferry service to Valletta was good as too was the bus stop. Maureen was very helpful. The breakfast was alright with a range of food. There was also the option to have an omelette which was good. Thanks.

Does the job. It’s clean and cosy, but lacks a-bit of everything for a stay longer than 1-2 nights. I used it for a layover before an early flight and it was fine.

The area around it seems pretty bland and crumbling, but that completely changes when you walk in. It's very comfortable and pleasant inside, with nice modern conveniences over top solid stone. Hopefully it gives an idea of what the typical houses in Tarxien are underneath.

We were fine, and the person who runs it was very friendly and helpful. And the price was exaggerated taking into account be in the middle of nowhere and off the tourist path and that the services offered are very scardi and restrictive for what you paid.

I really loved staying at this hotel, Naxxar where the hotel is located is away from the main touristy areas, it’s secluded yet central to close proximity to the bus station which is 6 minutes by walk and if you have Bolt installed you can easily book a ride to your destination. We stayed 4 nights at the hotel - we were not shown around the facilities and given a room that needed to be accessed from the outside on the top level which was very confusing. First, let me say that the room is close to the airport and clean, which is why we booked it. But the “king” bed is not even a queen—it’s a full, and it was self-check in, when I filtered for hotels. I wanted a front desk. Instead I got a text with instructions for how to access the keys. The owner is nice enough, and again, the place was fine. But it was way too expensive for self-check in to sleep...

Children are not allowed in the hotel, so I didn't check in, and a lot of the information was unclear, and I couldn't cancel even if I contacted the hotel or Ctrip. I won't choose this hotel next time.

Bus around don’t work till July 4th, and the government don’t make clear notice. So be prepared to take taxi to Valletta if live here. Other than that, very nice place and the owner Marvik is an awesome guy. Malta government should do a better job.
