When we arrived at the hotel we were many hours early. The receptionist looked to see if the room was ready or not. The hotel was a bit disorganized and attempted to charge me a second time for the room but when i showed my reciept they canceled the payment. When we got to the room the washroom had a brown stain on the door frame. I went directly to reception and showed them a picture. By the time I got back to the room two cleaners were there to address the issue. Typically we would have switched hotels and canceled due to the nasty stain but only being there for one day we stayed and as we were leaving Malta late we took a late check out to which the staff was accommodating.
The hotel is quite old and in need of renovation. The elevator is extremely hot. Additionally the window in our room faced the neighbouring building's wall and air conditioner. The only decent view was the one in the washroom.

We arrived in Malta from England with no accommodation for our 7 night stay. The taxi dropped us off at a cafe bar across the road from Hotel Roma and we initially only booked for one night as the price was cheap and decided to give it a one night trial. The rooms are basic but clean, the staff were very helpful. The air-con was an absolute godsend as it was 38degrees! After our one night stay we booked a further 6 nights and upgraded our room for a balcony for just €25 (so worth it) I think in total we paid around €650 for a weeks stay and it was everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody who just uses their hotel room as a base and do not be put off by the reasonably priced room! Ok we didn’t have a pool but we had the beautiful Mediterranean Sea right on our doorstep.

Thanks to Dena who is a very kind lady we had a problem with another hotel . In the early hours of the morning we has no where to stay.Dena made us feel so welcome. Friendly clean hotel with wonderful views . Would definitely recommend.Wonderful location near everything.

We stayed for 2 nights. The sea view room was a great size, very spacious. The room could do with refurbishing as it is a little dated but the hotel staff were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful and whatever we needed they helped us with. They gave us good information about the buses and getting around. The view was superb and the location was great. An easy walk to the ferry for Valetta or along the promenade for restaurants. A shame there’s no Breakfast option but they supplied us with bowls and cutlery so we sorted ourselves. We made use of the lift going through the restaurant underneath to avoid the steps up to the reception when possible. A great little hotel.

Was nreluctant when saw no pool breakfast etc but how wron g were we the room was a mazin 52 the balcony Seaview gorgeus best we've had shops supermarkets pastry shop 2 mins away swim 5 min max bulatta 5 min on bus at 2 euros gorgeus spot worth a visit so many eating places near as said staff so helpful especially main guy so sorry we didn't ask name faultless ,room bed made each day not had that before sliema as a resort beautiful and of course valetta so close can only thank you for our stay and the weather at 32 each day perfect

Clean friendly hotel with nice polite staff they are really helpful even when things go wrong for you. Beds are comfy and showers are powerful fantastic sea views from balcony. This is a no frills honest to goodness comfortable place to stay I’ll always return to this place because the continuity erases all fears of what you might be walking into
