Mercure St. Julian's Malta

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, and there were many positive aspects worth highlighting.

The location is excellent, close to the bay and conveniently near bus stops, making it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the rooftop, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city and the bay – truly unforgettable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions or provide assistance. The service was also exceptional; shortly after check-in, we received a call from reception to ensure everything was satisfactory, which was a thoughtful touch.

The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with rooms being cleaned regularly to maintain a high standard.

However, there were a few downsides. The walls were quite thin, and noise from other guests could be heard at times, which impacted the overall comfort. Additionally, while the breakfasts were delicious, the menu remained the same each day, which might not suit those staying for a longer period.

Overall, this hotel offers a great experience, especially for its location, views, and attentive service. If the noise insulation and breakfast variety were improved, it would be perfect!

It was my first time on Malta and this was the best experience ever! Hotel is so nice, clean, tidy, quiet. Beds so comfortable, all facilities available. Staff is so lovely, helpful, I felt like home and so much welcomed! Gorgeous roof swimming pool, excellent breakfast in hotel. In St Julian’s felt like summer in january with 20 degrees, full of life 🥰 Valletta very near. Definitely will back again.

Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel on our 3 nights trip to Malta.
It was pleasant stay, rooms were good size and cleaned everyday. I didn’t got the nice view but i guess i got what i paid for so it wasn’t bad at all.
Location is ideal and convenient to go anywhere in Malta , bus station was few minutes walk away. Restaurants and beautiful scenic views of St Julian's was amazing.

Very well located within walking distance of many restaurants and places to visit, 2 minutes walk to the nearest Mall / Supermarket.
Breakfast is amazing - I do recommend this option to everyone.
Rooms cleaned daily, tea + instant coffee provided free of charge and also replenished on a daily bases. Room very comfy and quite spacious.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights with breakfast, and everything was perfect. The service was amazing, the breakfast was rich and varied, and the entire hotel was impeccably clean. My room had everything I needed, and the staff were friendly and always smiling. However, a big downside was the unheated rooftop pool, which is unacceptable during the winter season.

The hotel is well-located and with a great infrastructure. The location is just walking distance from St. Julian's bay and is surrounded by fine dining restaurants and cafes.

The hotel offers a free on-site car park with a self-registering system that allows you to safely park the car under a surveillance system. Access to the car park is through a lift that goes directly to the reception or desired floor.

At the reception, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I would like to express my gratitude to Javier, the front desk supervisor as he took his time to explain to me and my girlfriend the tour options, and tips for traveling around and exploring Malta at its best. Me and my girlfriend decided to book the tour with the hotel and it was a great experience.

I strongly advise booking this hotel and if you do so, do not miss the gym on the -1 floor and the swimming pool on the rooftop, it offers a magnificent view of St. Julian's Bay.

Quality. I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice and modern, the staff are friendly, the rooftop pool is amazing and the location is great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Also an added bonus is the free parking in the underground car park. Full marks

The service was attentive and professional, and the room was both well-appointed and comfortable. The rooftop pool was a fantastic feature, offering a perfect place to relax with a great view. The breakfast was simply perfect, with plenty of delicious options. Plus, the location was ideal for easy access to nearby attractions. A truly memorable stay! Highly recommended!

We recommend the breakfast as it is a good value for money and a great start to your day with everything from the continental to the english selection. Lunch and snacks are also served in the roof top swimming pool, which is the hotel gem

Great location, main attractions of Malta are close on foot or by public transport but you can still get there in a rental car and they have parking.
Staff is very nice and helpful, we had one issue we reported at night and maintenance was in and out the next day fixing it.
The cleaning of the rooms and some minor details (shower design that flooded the bathroom for example) has some room for improvement but all in all a great experience.
