The hotel is pleasant and located approximately a 30-minute walk from downtown in a generally quiet area. However, the walls are very thin, and noise travels easily between rooms. During my stay, there were extremely noisy guests on my floor, which significantly affected my rest.
Unfortunately, the main issue was the behavior of the female manager. She was unprofessional and discourteous toward my driver, my guide, and myself, demonstrating a clear lack of basic customer service and soft skills. When I requested a takeaway coffee with my breakfast box, I was told to pay for it, despite it being included in the rate, or at the very least deserving of a courteous explanation.
While other staff members were friendly and helpful, this manager’s attitude negatively defined the experience. As a result, I would not choose to stay here again, especially considering this is a three-star hotel where a minimum level of hospitality should be expected.

I stayed at Hotel Skalny for 2 nights in May while on a motorbike trip. Room was large and spacious and reasonably modern. The hotel is a fair bit from the main centre with not much round about. I struggled to find any restaurants within walking distance , that were open. I tried the hotel restaurant - which served a buffet meal - but was disappointed with the lack of choice - this may have been because the hotel was quiet with very few guests. Unfortunately although it was late May, the weather was very poor, with temperatures as low as 4C with rain and some snow in the mountains, which put a bit of a damper on the bike trip

Very nice hotel, in the quiet locality. Nice services, great food and really nice people working there. We enjoyed the stay and would choose it again, walk to Krupowki street was also lovely, nice views along the walk, it is around 2,5 km from the hotel. Would love to come back.

All the receptionists and the life guard were friendly and spoke English. We felt really welcome after a terrible experience at a different place. Viktoria, Marcin answered questions patiently and gave us a good plan to save the rest of our vacation. Great room. Will visit again.

Was fantastic 2 nights! Although the hotel is officially rated 3 stars, it truly exceeded expectations — it felt like a 4-star experience in every aspects! The breakfast and the diner too was excelent. Good parking place. Good for the groups.

Very nice visit. I liked the hotel. Good position for skiing. Wellness was good and was nice to have towels by the swimming pool. I must appreciat perfect breakfast and dinner. Food was very tasty and and dinner started at 4 o clock which for us was very comfortable because we could go for evening skiing. Everyday there was room cleaning and the hotel offers also water and some refreshment available in the room. It is shamed that the accomodation is a little bit old. It could be changed. But the room was clean and the bathroom looked new. I recommend the hotel and I would come back for sure.

The best hotel I have ever used. Very high quality of services. Professional and positive staff. Very nice atmosphere. Very good location. Large parking lot. Swimming pool and SPA zone. Very good gastronomic offer. Ideal offer for families, groups of friends and all categories of vacationers. I recommend this hotel!

Unfortunately, when we booked the hotel, we were not warned that there was a renovation going on in one part of the hotel on two floors. We were immediately placed on the floor where the renovation was going on, but on the other side. And it was terrible, because there was noise from the room, the radio that the workers were listening to was very loud, there was a lot of dust.
Luckily, when my husband went to the reception, they immediately changed our room and gave us a new room on the top floor.
The new room was better, but the next morning there was no water. First there was no hot water, then they turned off the cold water. I think the hotel should warn in advance about repair work and the schedule when there will be no water!
Moreover, when booking, we wrote that we were going to celebrate a birthday and on such a day we would like the day to go well and without any unpleasant situations.

Lots of rust, mold on window frame, shower pressure is very weak and water changes from hot to cold abruptly. Also, the heating in the room didn't work and it was cold.

We stayed for 2 nights and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We did battle a little sometimes with English but we managed and enjoyed the stay. They do need to renovate the rooms, the beds are not comfortable and the cushions is not good. We also had a kettle , cups and spoons in the room but no coffee or tea in the room. The pool and jacuzzi area is very nice.

Rooms are clean but outdated. Okay value for money. Disappointed in the restaurant, very little choice at the buffet.
