White Palace Bangkok in Bangkok

We are disappointed with our stay as the actual room condition was very different from the photos shown online. The room was not clean, appeared very old, and did not meet basic expectations of comfort and hygiene.
We hope the hotel will review this matter seriously and improve room maintenance and accuracy of listings to avoid misleading guests.

My trip was 24-30th August , stayed one night and checked out on the 25th. Cleanliness was very poor and you have to tolerate pests like cockroaches. Below is a rubbish collection centre where my room is facing. My room was on the 3rd level and I requested to change room- which they did allow to but to the 4th level which made no difference and I had to wait for 5-6 hours for a room change the next day. I couldn’t wait any longer, hence, I decided to check out. I tried explaining and requested for a refund for my entire trip booking for the 6 days 5 night. They didn’t allow any refunds at all. The amount spent for this hotel could easily give you a much more pleasant 4 star hotel. :) There is no safe to store important belongings. I did not feel safe at all, the architecture is so poor your neighbour next door can climb into your room through the balcony if you don’t lock your sliding glass going out to the balcony as it is all connected. The walls are not soundproof, you can actually hear the slightest of conversation that’s happening around you. Didn’t even manage to get some sleep for the one night I stayed as there were cockroaches that will just start keep coming into your apartment from the balcony. I booked a smoking room with a balcony which I couldn’t even access to due to the pests. It feels like a scam I don’t even know how this hotel gets a good review. Overall, this is plainly my experience booking with this hotel. The worst booking anybody can go for in Bangkok highly recommend to avoid this hotel. I did not expect a five star hotel treatment, but I only wanted a decent accommodation with comfortability which they did not deliver.

Bad location is my fault, I should have researched better, but this is not a modern boutique hotel like the photos make it look. It’s dirty and old. The bed is clean, but the rest is cringy. For the price, you can find something way better in BKK.
