Hotel quite far away from Central Plaza Westgate, An arduous journey, You need to catch the taxi meter when you want to go to another place. Lunch buffet is ok especially dessert & bakery line very delicious.

Quiet hotel in the government district

An area of Bangkok I don't normally stay in, it's a nice retreat in a more residential area surrounded by private schools but also plenty of street food and a 20 minute walk from a brand new retail development with good restaurants

Very pretty boutique hotel. Only 38 rooms. Facilities include dining room, spa centre, conference room, pool set in an oasis of greenery and gym. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great little oasis in the city. Good restaurant, clean rooms and excellent staff. Lush grounds with a cool refreshing pool after a long day of touristing. It's not in a tourist area so get ready to mix with the locals

If marketing as a health resort, they should consider one separate smoking area instead of allowing it anywhere in the courtyard. Front desk is incredibly helpful and will get you a metered taxi in moments

It was a wonderful oasis. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The grounds and pool area were beautifully maintained. The spa service was top notch. Kid-friendly. Everyone loved it.

Fantastic location smack bang in the middle of Chinatown. Excellent food options nearby. Chao phraya express boat pier within walking distance. Small pool on the roof which was welcoming

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile

Bar prices outrageous, go to lotus or 7-11. Air conditioning fan unable to be adjusted so bring earplugs. Maids kept forgetting to empty bathroom bin, replenish tissues, dust under the bed etc

The room is very spacious with a nice city view and a bath tub. We had a strange moment during check out when they said we had taken a pair of slippers from the room

I got them to check the room again and then she said the cleaner found them. It was very awkward moment at checkout which spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay

The location is very convenient for taxi to pick up the passenger. It's also very well service, we have the refrigerator broken and the repairman come to fix it immediately. Breakfast is really delicious.

Electronic payment mini bar full stocking with snacks or protein bars would be a great implement as this would be the new normal in the course of time. Airport did not have ATM and exchange boots were not operated

The water in the shower are warm-ish but not really hot. There are two entrances and another restaurant also called Villa Cha Cha a few hundred meters from the hotel - this may confuse drives, taxies and delivery guys

Despite the fact the hotel is surrounded by loud and busy streets with parties and discos - at night it's really quiet and one can sleep very well. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff 11

There was a problem with the toilet in the middle of the night - it was resolved within 30 minutes. The kettle wire does not reach the socket. There are not enough electric sockets in the room

Movable TV so you can connect your own Chromecast and watch Netflix, basically one can connect any HDMI to the TV. There is a couch in the room 5

Neighbourhood is safe n friendly. Have in 5 days in a row n not tired of it. Cleaned our room everyday and have 2 bottles of water everyday. Room was slightly smaller then usual but good for 2 people

We found Villa de Pranakorn to be a delightful oasis in the older part of Bangkok, its decor and style was modern but welcoming. The rooms we had were large and well thought out with excellent bathrooms

Great hotel to stay in Bangkok. Pretty central and in good condition. There was a contradiction site next to it but luckily it was not too loud. Biggest plus is the rooftop pool which lets you calm down in a busy city.

For this trip, it was the perfect location. Located halfway along Rambuttri Road (Parallel road to Khaosan Road) meant that the hotel is very close to all the action but not too noisy

Maybe it was good that we had a room towards the back of the hotel to reduce any noise even further as this is still an area with lots of good bars and restaurants that stay open until late

Check-in was easy and checkout can be delayed for a small charge. We will use this hotel again when we return to the Khaosan area

Nice little breakfast spot on Soi Rambuttri. They do other food but I was there for breakfast. Service was fairly swift and friendly. I paid 90 Baht for breakfast including coffee

It's well located with numerous food places close by, near to a few laundries and a convenience store about 500 metres away. It's easy walking distance to bus stops and not far from the Khao San Rd precinct

The hotel's breakfast is served à la carte, and while the dining area may not be fancy, it has a cozy, homey feel. The staff provide table service, making it a welcoming experience

Really enjoyed staying at the Roof View Place! It is an older well maintained value property centrally located near lots of great restaurants cafes and small stores

The single room is clean and the amenities are completely provided, such as TV, table, stand fan, AC, toiletries, hanging racks with hangers, and it attached with a private toilet and balcony

Roof view place is a great hotel experience for me as a solo traveller. Very near to Wat Arun just a boat ride away from Tan Thien Ferry station. A great stay overall and would totally come back again

This hotel has great access to many sights. The train station is directly across the street. Staff is very attentive and friendly. You need just ask and they will help. Restaurant and staff are open and available 24/7

It is situated in close proximity to major tourist attractions. Staff very friendly, clean room and the bed was comfortable. As we were traveling with our 4 year old daughter they gave us a bigger room with three beds.

Our driver, Peter, was a phenomenal guide with patience when dealing with our, sometimes fussy, 16 month old. Close to the palace, Chinatown and other destinations. Not a bad thing to say about our experience here

There were no unpleasant odors Inside or outside the room and I had no issues with noise from neighbors or the city despite hearing birds chirping occasionally in morning. I absolutely LOVED the breakfast buffet

INCREDIBLE location at the center of the Khaosan road Bangkok. Premium budget Hotel with an amazing rooftop swimming pool. Very close to all the tourist attraction near the khaosan road Bangkok.

The location is great for party people and food-trip travelers as the location is in the middle of khaosan road. The downside is, sometimes the noise outside can be heard minimally inside the room

But so far so good during our stay. Its our second time booking this hotel here in bangkok. Live music, clubs and street bars are available in the area. Also, there are lots of food stalls and street foods along the road

You can definitely still sleep. Fridge with water, beer, and food. Good pricing, accommodating staff, pool on the roof which is nice and clean, breakfast in the morning for 199 baht and it was pretty good

The rooms are clean, the lights are dim. The room we got smells cigar, luckily there’s still available rooms and the front desk provided us a new room. There is a 1,000THB deposit fee

Hotel is nice. But horrible if you value sleep. I was up until 4 am in the morning on a normal Tuesday in the rainy season. I had to cut my stay short and look for another hotel.

Excellent little hotel , perfectly positioned on the riverside. Short walk (yards) to the riverboat dock and hence to the main attractions like the royal palace and Chinatown. Good bar and restaurant with lovely staff

During our stay the Pool was under maintenance, but the Hotel was kind enough to compensate us with a 10% discount voucher along with ฿1,000 off any food purchases per day from the Restaurant

The Hotel location is great and is very close to many restaurants and bars, and just a short walk to Khao San Road and many market type stalls and shops

Will definitely be back for our 3rd stay at the Riva Surya and the staff need to be commended on their quality and detail to service

Location is far from the city center. Takes about 30 mins by grab to central area. Hotel room is very clean and spacious with a great view of Chao Phraya River. Breakfast is not recommended for the price you pay

Housekeeping a bit niggardly with one set of toiletries throughout my stay, considering the prices charged. Was given a great rover facing room although Wat Arun is not in sight (as the photos may otherwise suggest)

I stayed at the D&D Inn, which is the newer standard addition across the street from the Main Hotel. The hotel is located in Central Khao San Road, so the location is great

Nice location but room is too small for triple occupancy. Its just a double room and they have made arrangements with 3 single beds. All 3 beds were on the floor and it was little difficult to use

One thing to note: make sure you don’t stay in rooms at the front of the hotel, as they are right next to the busy street. The loud music and party atmosphere on Khaosan Road can make it very difficult to sleep at night

No chair to sit which was too difficult. Very compact when you have 3-4 bags

The pool was a great spot to relax during the day, and it had a fantastic view of the bustling street. At night, Khaosan Road comes alive, and the hotel is in the heart of all the action

There are bars, restaurants, and street vendors right outside, and the party never stops. The hotel also had a great vibe, with music playing and guests enjoying themselves. For the price, the hotel offered great value
