No frills hotel, you get what you pay for. Advantage is that this hotel has parking.
This hotel does a lot of tour groups and the lobby is packed every night.
The room was big and comfortable, but the pillows were so hard and high. I am used to low pillows, so it's my personal feelings.
But I don't understand why they have a glass window inside the bathroom, every time someone goes to the washroom, will wake up the person who's sleeping inside the room, unless one is traveling alone.
The front desk manager was extremely rude. When I asked a simple question in English, she asked if I was Chinese and didn’t answer. I was shocked and asked again, only for her to send me to the lobby. The bartender there was equally unhelpful, brushing me off with “I can’t do anything for you.” It felt like they treated me like a beggar, not a guest. This wasn’t about a language barrier; it was about their attitude.
However, a younger woman at the front desk was polite, spoke good English, and offered great service when I checked in.
While the location and cleanliness were good, the poor treatment by staff really left a negative impression.
