The 4 star on service would be in relation to the gym. It would be better if dumbbells went up to at least 20kg and also would be good if there was a weight cable machine in there too, as I was limited to the weight training I could do with the equipment that was there. Maybe moving it to a bigger area would be better with some more weight equipment.
Negatives. I didn’t like the bed, too soft mattress, I can’t sleep well on beds like that. TV app section didn’t work because wasn’t connected to internet, but I didn’t try to ask to fix because we just stayed 2 nights.
K. Fluke and K. Penn were both incredibly helpful and professional throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect, offering great recommendations for local dining and attractions. Their friendly and attentive service made us feel completely at home.
The facilities were outstanding — the restaurant served delicious food, the pool area was spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the personal touches that made our visit unforgettable.

I stayed in Building B this time, and the view from my room was beautiful. I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to all the friendly front desk staff and housekeeping team members.
There’s a sign in the elevator that says, “You are not a customer, you are family and friends.” And that’s exactly how it feels here — so comfortable and welcoming that it truly makes the trip enjoyable.
The breakfast was as delicious as always, and the room service dishes and cocktails from the pool bar were all excellent.
Although Altera Hotel is a 4-star property, the staff’s service quality is definitely 5-star. Thank you once again, and I look forward to staying here on my next trip.
Hotel ammenities were complete and reaily avaliable.
Room is spacious and clean, furniture were enough to accommodate a small crowd of 3.
Housekeeping service was quick and extremely thorough. My blanket was only slightly stained, but Khun Lin noticed and helped me changed it out. She even went on to mopped the balcony floor after the rain.
Delicious full breakfast every morning. The room was big and even came with a kitchenette, with electric stove and microwave.
Location was right in the center of Patayya, just minutes from the beach and anything else you needed.
Staff was superb, very attentive and polite. Stubbed my toe one day, my wife called down to see if they had any band-aids for us to buy, without asking they sent two staff members up to our room, cleaned my toe with alcohol and put band-aids on themselves. I was blown away by this level of service.
Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again in the future.
We loved our stay so much that we decided to return after our trip from Koh Larn. Coincidentally, our check-in happened to be on my birthday! While relaxing by the pool, Patty and Oil approached us with a beautiful box of chocolate cupcakes—such a sweet and heartfelt surprise! They even sang "Happy Birthday" to me. We hadn’t mentioned it was my birthday at check-in, but they went out of their way to make my day extra special.
I can’t express enough how much we appreciated the warmth and hospitality from Oil, Patty, Minnie, and all the staff, along with the fantastic ambiance, delicious food, and unbeatable location. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Altera to our friends and colleagues.
