Golden Sea - SHA Extra Plus Mini-hotel

They charge 500 TBH for room change. Be careful before sepecting the room.
Very rude and receptionist behavior they must hire someone who understand English.
Bathrooms are not up to the standards.
They charge security deposit for room 1,000 TBH either you book by yourself or through travel agents.
Breakfast menu so so.
It's not 3 start it's 2 star hotel.

Rooms service and reception staff are horrible .
They event smile, great the customer.
Very bad behaviour from the staff. Don't understand english. Worst staff don't even think to stay in this hotel.
Break fast is not at all good .No taste and sharp at 9:45 am they start closing the breakfast.
They loot money for unnecessary thing .
They took 600bhat for bead spread was dirty

I recently stayed at Hotel Golden Sea in Pattaya, and overall, it was not the most pleasant experience. Here are a few of my key takeaways:

Room Quality: The rooms are acceptable but not impressive. They’re somewhat old-fashioned, lacking the modern touches that make a stay more enjoyable.

Breakfast: The breakfast was a big disappointment. They serve the same items every day, with no variety or options for a different style of breakfast. It gets repetitive and can be frustrating for longer stays.

Amenities: Surprisingly, the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, which is inconvenient for guests who prefer dining options on-site.

Cleanliness: Cleanliness in the rooms wasn’t up to standard. The rooms felt worn out and didn’t seem as fresh or well-maintained as one would expect.

Staff Attitude: Unfortunately, the staff’s attitude was the biggest downside. They were generally unfriendly, lacking the warmth and hospitality you’d hope to find in a hotel. It even felt disrespectful at times, which made the stay uncomfortable.

In summary, I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Golden Sea Pattaya unless they make improvements in cleanliness, service, and dining options. There are likely better options in the area for a comfortable stay.

This hotel is disgusting only because of the rude attitude of the staff.

Rooms are good
Location is good
But service is poorest

They have 3 building:
1st building is for western tourists
2nd , 3rd is for asian ( indians, Chinese)

And the staff behaviour is not good for Indians

Breakfast: 1st building only have the breakfast facility, you have to come to 1st building for your breakfast

Don’t recommend for couples , as most of the Indian bachelor stays in this hotel and they do what for which pattaya is famous for which becomes very embarrassing for couples

Checked out of here 10 mins ago. Absolutely horrid service. Air conditioning wasn't working. The balcony door wouldn't close. You have to pay a security deposit which you can take back when you check out.
But they will scam you by claiming that a towel (or something else) is missing from the room, to avoid paying it back. So please take a room video inventory when you check in. We thought it was a genuine mistake but when we asked for receipt for the fine, she got nervous and argumentative. That is when we realized it is a scam and she didn't want it registered on the system officially. Please be aware of such scam places and go somewhere else as there are better options in the same budget.

Not only the rooms are worse , but the staff working there are the worst. They have no etiquettes of talking and sense of welcoming. You will feel like money machine to the hotel and nothing else. The worst people working in the hotel.
