Red Planet SHA Extra Plus Hotel

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Red Planet Pattaya and I must say it was one of the most disappointing stays I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this establishment failed to meet even the most basic expectations of a comfortable stay.

Firstly, the lack of disclosure regarding essential amenities like a fridge and coffee facilities was utterly frustrating. These are basic necessities that should be standard in any accommodation, and their absence was severely inconvenient, especially for a two-week stay. I had to constantly eat out or find alternatives, which was not only costly but also impractical.

The room itself was incredibly cramped. Once I placed my suitcase down, there was barely any space to walk around the bed, making it feel more like a closet than a room. For the price I paid, I expected at least some level of comfort and space, but this was not the case.

To make matters worse, when I raised these issues with the management and requested a refund to find alternative accommodation, I was flatly denied. Their refusal to offer any compensation or solutions left me feeling trapped and frustrated for the entire duration of my stay.

Overall, my experience at Red Planet was nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of non-disclosure, lack of basic amenities, and the refusal to provide a refund made it an accommodation I would strongly advise others to avoid. Save your money and look elsewhere for a more comfortable and accommodating stay.

DO NOT BOOK! I booked this hotel for a short stay, but unfortunately the room conditions were unacceptable. Every time I entered my room, I immediately developed a sore throat, mucus buildup, headaches, and irritation that made it difficult to sleep. At first I thought it was the AC, but even after turning it off the symptoms continued. The AC filter itself was dirty, and the overall air quality in the room was very poor. I requested a free cancellation many time and they denied me everytime !!!

I stayed at this hotel in Pattaya last night, January 17th.
The toilet seat was very stained. It was brownish, though it's supposed to be white.
I'm sure this is the case with most of the toilet seats in that hotel.
They're old and need to be replaced.
Also, the towels are old and ripped, the shower head is rusty, and the clock in the lobby was four hours behind the actual time.
The hallways in floor 5 were quite dirty, too.
All in all, this hotel is shabby.
Given the fact that they do a very good business, they should invest in new toilet seats and basic repairs.

Cheap hotel in good location. The wifi is barely useable, so bad that you have to opt for 4G 100% of the time staying. Beware of the bike rental shop right next to the hotel, the guy will try to get you pay an absurd amount of money if you return the bike with a little less fuel than it had before (just call a high rating shop on google map if you want to rent motorbikes)
