I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. Its in a good location directly across from the markets and a short walk to the old town. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts are excellent and food is of good quality. Staying here will not disappoint and is good value.

Great location, great service by the staff here. We got a nice big family room because we had a young child. On one of the days they also offered us to have the breakfast at Novotel which was adjoining. The location is pretty good too as the city centre was at a walking distance.

Nice clean room, solid wifi and good water pressure. 15 minute walk to the bus terminal if you take the airport bus, about 20 minute walk (or 5 minutes to the free shuttle bus) to the center of old town. Nice breakfast but could use a little more variety. Adjacent to the Novotel which shares some amenities. Service was good. There's a nice selection of food stalls next door a night market (mostly food stalls) at the Go market nearby. All electrical outlets had international plugs, no adapters needed

Intimate place to come back to after a long day out.

4. Housekeeping was very slow, my room was not cleaned when I got back at 4pm

Overall my stay has been pleasant and the proximity to town is a real plus

Some might not feel safe from surrounding location. Dark roads and not much around. Need onsite convenient store or stocked minibar. Bed was rock hard, but doesn't need to be from accor. Hotel mismanaged who was accor elite member which was disappointing. You can use the facilities of the next door Novotel under same management

This has been the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The noise from the neighboring rooms is unbearable—it feels more like a hostel than a hotel. I can hear everything, from doors being knocked on to footsteps right outside my room. The noise starts early, with room service and housekeeping making loud sounds as early as 8 AM.
Additionally, there's a persistent smell of tobacco coming from the rooms next door, which is incredibly off-putting. The bed is tiny—barely 140 cm wide—and the toilet door is made of transparent glass, which I still don’t understand.
As for room amenities, they’re practically nonexistent. There are no hygiene items like cotton pads, and the overall lack of basic amenities is disappointing.
Breakfast was also a huge letdown. There’s no live egg station, and everything from the juice to the milk, pancakes, and baked goods had a strange taste and unpleasant smell.
The only positive thing I can say is the location—it’s near the Old Town. However, the street is far from clean, and there are many other hotels in the area that I’m sure offer a much better experience.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay at ibis Styles Phuket City! The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and everything is in excellent condition. The breakfast was a highlight—delicious and with a variety of options, making it a convenient all-in-one package. The location is also ideal, with easy walking access to Phuket Old Town and nearby spots like McDonald’s. My only disappointment was the room size, which felt a bit small for a longer stay of 4-5 days due to the lack of a wardrobe. However, for short visits, it’s a fantastic choice!

The hotel was clean and the staff very nice and attentive.
The room however was poorly designed. The WC is not a sealed chamber and there's no insulation so all smells and sounds are present in the bedroom.
There's absolutely no noise insulation at all and you can completely hear the neighbors speaking in the next room, the AC motors running and the water pipes and drainage all around.
I literally woke up from hearing my neighbors watching TikTok at 5Am...
I unfortunately will not be back to this hotel

Stayed for 7 nights during the Vegetarian Festival. Room is well kept, generally. Receptionists, housekeepers, and F&B staffs are friendly. Location is good and convenient even for taking the free bus services provide by the Phuket City.
The slight negative points are:
1) Housekeepers did not thoroughly clean the floor in the room. I could see the same hair on the floor for 2-3 days.
2) No laundry bag in the room. It was very inconvenient when I sent laundry for cleaning in the hotel.

All staff are helpful and willing to provide services.

1. The design of the bathroom in each room is quite revealing making it feels uncomfortable. This is because, for business trip, we generally share rooms with colleagues.
2. Breakfast should be provided in the hotel's restaurant on the first floor. It feels a bit strange that we have to have breakfast at another hotel (Novotel).
