We took the bus from Denizli and arrived at the hotel in the early morning. We had no other choice since there was ONLY ONE BUS PER DAY from our last destination to Bodrum. The boss was mad at our early request to leave our luggage there. He was extremely rude. What was worse, after we checked in, we were given a tiny room with four single beds with NO SPACE FOR WALKING BETWEEN, which was apparently much smaller than the one I booked online. During our two-night stay there, the boss stayed impolite and cold at us. This was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. Not recommended at all.

Great location (3 minute walk from waterfront) and the staff were lovely and took good care of us! We enjoyed the breakfasts in the courtyard which is a very nice setting.

Quiet. It is a peaceful environment, this is a very old facility but everything is functional and well-maintained. The facility staff where we stayed after a busy day is very attentive and friendly. The gentleman who owns the business is extremely cultured and attentive, They serve breakfast in a wonderful isolated garden accompanied by the sounds of birds. It does not have a very rich buffet in terms of content but I can say it is satisfactory. I can come with my family. Thank you Güleç Hotel.

This proper Bodrum hotel has all you need, especially when travelling alone: a clean bed and a clean bathroom, friendly staff, a bookshelf; plus a gorgeous courtyard garden for breakfast.
No cheap gimmicks and no sad realisation that it is actually you who pays for them.
It is situated in a relatively quiet back street 3 minute walk away from the Cumhuriyet Street where it’s all happening. It had been a great find for me.

The experience was really bad. The owner was super rude over the phone. Watch you are booking from agoda. Also there is no parking by this establishment and breakfast doesnt include much its just like they are trying to cut down their expenses any way possible. They didnt not even give the water but instead u have you pay for the water bottle. Absolutely terrible hotel so far i have stayed in. You should watch out. Dont get impressed by the location its totally not worth it.

Very well located hotel, very close (5 minutes walk) to the city center and the beach. Quiet and easily accessible street. Ideal location. Very pleasant owner who speaks French and English and has excellent knowledge of the city and the region, which allows him to guide you in your choice of visits. Very pleasant garden for relaxation and breakfast. Very good choice in Bodrum, highly recommended.

Great stay at this hotel. We slept very well. Very clean. Very good breakfast. Great courtyard for relaxing or having breakfast. Attentive staff. Cute cats. All for a low price. We'll definitely return. The manager speaks French, too.

The hotel is located very close (about a 5-7 minute walk) to a wonderful beach, as well as a centre full of shops and cafès. The beach has a beach club, where you can stay at their umbrellas and chairs if you pay a minimum of 300 TL in consumption (food and drink at the club bar/restaurant).
The hotel itself is cozy, with very friendly staff and a wonderful internal garden with chairs and tables to eat breakfast. The breakfast was diverse and fresh self-service buffet, definitely a good start to the day. The garden is connected to the pool of an adjacent restaurant, which can be used.
The rooms were cozy, with air conditioning (a necessity in the warm July-August season) and a TV (which however only plays Turkish channels). The bathroom was well-equipped, although the toilet was missing toilet paper when we arrived (which the friendly staff quickly provided upon request). The shower gets slippery once you turn on the water, so watch out! The accommodation was overall ideal for a summer stay, and I would've loved to stay longer!
The pricing was very fair, and the service was more than welcoming and ready to provide any accommodations. Personally, I enjoyed the fact that the local stray cats (aloof and relaxed as always) would wander around the garden, as they would anywhere else in Turkey. The garden patio at night is a wonderful place to relax and chat with friends, as the cold breeze cools the heat to an ideal temperature. Definitely recommend a stay!

The owner's welcome and kindness. Well located in the city center, near the seafront promenade and quiet. Large garden. Very clean room. Comfortable bedding. Good breakfast. Excellent Wi-Fi.

On 30 September 2022, I went to Güleç Hotel to check in for my stay of 4 nights in Bodrum. I called the owner a couple of days before arriving, I let him know about my arrival and departure date and he confirmed my reservation orally. I suggested to transfer deposit money but he told me that wasn't needed. On the day of the arrival, I have been informed that they were booked. I called the owner who wasn't there and he told me a group called after me and he gave the room to them. He said, FORTUNATELY, he didn't take my deposit. He also said I could come back two days later. It was a very disrespectful conversation. He didn't say any word of apologies and I started my holidays with the terrible feeling this situation gave me. Then I found a nice peaceful place and tried to forget about it. One month later, I believe that people who read this should know about this event. I stayed 3 times in Hotel Güleç before but now they lost me. I will never stay there again.
