Reviews
The condition of the rooms was unsatisfactory, with plaster falling off the walls in several places. The corridors and the lift had no air conditioning, and the general cleanliness was poor. The pool and beach areas were not properly cleaned, toiletries were not replaced despite multiple requests, and shower gel has not been refilled for four days. Used dishes and trash were often left in the room without being collected.
Regarding the food, we were also very disappointed. The meals were tasteless and repetitive, and the à la carte restaurant was far below standard. On one occasion, we waited half an hour for a tiramisu, only to be told by the waiter — just 12 minutes before closing — to decide what else we would like in the remaining 12 minutes because she could have closed 30 minutes before if we did not come, which we found completely unacceptable. During lunch, the staff even dragged garbage bins past us while we were eating, which was very unpleasant.
The service attitude and communication also caused problems. Most of the staff did not speak English and were unfriendly. When we had to leave early for a morning program, we asked for takeaway breakfast. Despite the hotel advertising 24/7 service, this was refused, which caused further inconvenience. Moreover, there was an unpleasant fertilizer smell around the hotel, and the internet connection was very weak throughout our stay.
Overall, we feel that the quality of service and the staff’s attitude fell far below what guests should expect from a hotel of this category.
This is not a 5* hotel, 4* at best, but 3* is not far from the reality.
