MERİDİA BEACH HOTEL

One of the reasons that I decided to write a review about this hotel is because I want to warn further guest about some incidents..While I was in spa, having a massage, I was robbed, somebody opened the locker maybe with their spare key or the universal one and took 100€ from my purse. I had the money put in a separate pocket on that morning for my friends birthday present. I am almost sure that it was the guy from the spa reception as myself and my friend were the only ones there at the spa on that early morning plus the 2 masseuse that were with us all the time.. I tried to report it many times but hotel receptionist never understood me and when I asked about manager always said not today- tomorrow.. so gave up😞😫
Family bungalow was very bad ,with dirty bathroom, dirty rooms and very bad smell of damp. All of us got bites marks every night ,probably bed bugs. First night when I arrived, late in the night, I noticed my bed wasn’t changed from the previous stay, bed sheets were dirty and could clearly see that someone slept there before. The next day I could hardly explain to the girl that meant to clean my room (as she couldn’t understand a word from what I was saying) to give me a clean sheet so I could change it myself. The room was cleaned only once, I run after them few times to get some clean towels, never changed my bed in 10 days of my stay.. I had the clean my room tag on my door for a couple of days but always found it on the ground on my return to the room.. on other days I decided not to put anything on the door so maybe this way they would clean the room.. but didn’t happen..my dirtiest holiday I ever had.
Wi-Fi that you have to pay for? After paying 3670€ for my holiday??? I though that this is a joke after I read some comments.. but unfortunately is true- 1€per hour or 3€ for a day.. definitely first time in my life.

Don't walk RUN if you are from UK ....

They don't speak English or cater to people from UK. And neither do the other guests. They will not be nice to you.

Saying that! If you get the main building you are ok. If you don't you will have a 2 star experience. They have loads of our house buildings that are quite frankly old... run down and very dirty. Balcony with no lock on the door so toddler can open it. And has no handle on the other side so can't get back in if it closes and very low railing that a 2 year old can go over.

Towels dirty. Floor dirty. Beds dirty. Squashed bugs everywhere. Bunk/ dorm style rooms.

The main hotel looks lovely. Such a shame.

Update**** bring your own iron they don't have one

We stayed at this hotel in June 2022. It is definitely not 5* hotel! What I didn’t like the most is dirt and mold everywhere, also there were awful queues to take some food for the dinner, and the food quality was pretty poor. I’ll add some photos, which I’ve made. In our room, behind kids bed there was a wall with huge mold, and it smelled unhealthy! Also this smell of mold was at the gym, massage room. The plates and forks at the restaurant were dirty, really dirty, and it was all the time. And I cannot forget to mention huge queues at the restaurant to get some food! There usually was only 2 varieties of meat or fish dish (it was chicken or some strange fish, with really poor taste), and to get it you had to wait 30 minutes! My advise is not to go to Meridia hotel. Check my photos, to see, that I’m telling the truth!
