Food is good but quite repetitive- same with most all inclusive places i suppose.
I do have to add my rating is missing a star because I was slightly disappointed upon arrival for a few reasons. Firstly to find out so much stops at this time of year (November) ale carte restaurants close, day time activities become minimal and the big one air conditioning is turned off- nigh times become slightly unbearable because of the heat. Traveling with a baby and having to spend the night in a boiling hot room is not pleasant.
Secondly the bars only have one person serving and can cause such a wait in the day and there isn’t staff walking around taking orders for drinks ( this may just be how it is done here but I was surprised as I’ve not been to a hotel of this size and not had waiters taking drink orders at the pool and serving you)
Lastly the lack of supervision in the spa facilities. Going to relax and ending up more stressed was not on my holiday list. Children were actually playing in the sauna and steam rooms- parents bringing BABYS in to the sauna??? Surely that is a major safety issue?!
Overall we have had a lovely holiday, I just wish I was aware of the things changing because it’s advertised as if everything is available all year round and was disappointed on arrival. This hotel is brilliant and we would love to come back at a better time of year to see it at its full potential
Two things to note, the beach is pebble and the location is relatively remote. There are only other hotels and a small number of shops in the vicinity. Transfers to the town in either direction are fast and cheap though.
Great hotel, clean, well kept grounds.
Great variety of food for lunches and evening meals, pool is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, variety of things to do.
Not so good:
We went during summer holidays so it was busy, sunbeds were all gone by 0800 each day.
Breakfast was repetitive, different bars had different quality drinks.
Would definitely book this hotel again!
Pizza, burgers, wraps, meats, salad, fruit and cakes. They have a variety of mock tails and cocktails. The amphi bar has things like:
Crepes, jacket potatoes, waffles, ice cream, burritos, fruit teas and again, a variety of drinks. Definitely recommend coming.
Pool and activities/events are for everyone to get involved with. The bars are well equipped and staff are friendly.
Everyday is a different themed dinner night and it brings a lot of culture to the palette.
Check in staff checked me to a vey isolated room below the accountants office, it was dark and musty with no views at all as it was on -2 floor.
It took a lot of deliberating to get what I wanted/paid for the following days.
We had a few bookings well in advance and asked for rooms together but they were not arranged, in fact on different floors and sides.
