Sealife Buket Resort & Beach Hotel

We travelled as a family with 5 year old kid. I am a very frequent traveler and we have seen resorts all over the world, the one guarantee I can give anyone, this is not even a 2 star resort.

Not nearly enough loungers around the pool, there is no space for more and the 80 beds or so around the pool are taking before anyone has had breakfast. As our child loves to be in the pool all day, it is not an option for us to sit on the beach and let her play by herself, we have to be where we can see our child. Our child went once to the kid’s club and was done within 10 minutes and did not want to go back there. The entertainment and kid clubs personal are pushy, rude and obnoxious. The noise levels in their (closed hall) amphitheater are just absurd, even with a noise cancelling headset on it is as loud as any big music festival. You can see people cover their ears and leaving because of it.
The mini disco was a big flop for our child, every other resort we have been she loved going, doing the dances and make some friends. Here it was different, she was ready to go within 5 minutes and refuse to attend a single other disco, which she normally loves and looks forward to all day.
We decided on our last evening to attend the Mongolian acrobat show, because at other resorts they were fun and very impressive, here it consisted of ladies only and it was more a moulin rouge show or dirty dancing, nearly every local or Muslim person got up and walked out within minutes of it starting. Both the movies I referenced are rated PG-13, but the hotel staff see no problem in having this performance in front of children of any age. THIS SHOW IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN and I cannot believe that no one in that hotel understands this.
Staff:
Most of the staff looks dead tired, overworked and are therefore unable to smile.
The older Guest relations manager is by far the rudest manager I have come across in all my travels as an airline pilot for the past 15 years, but will get to that with the biggest issue we have faced staying at this hotel, (surprise the ear infection due to bad water quality was not the biggest issue).
The BIG issue:
Noise levels, every time they have an activity in or around the pool, the sound levels get driven up to the point where the speakers are straining, people close to them cover their ears and within a minute the speaker side of the pool becomes empty. Conversation at this point is impossible. It is not loud, it is insanely loud. We went to complain on day 2 and asked if this level of volume was really necessary and I was laughed at, told to go to the “relax” pool, which FYI you cannot go to with children. We were told by entertainment that this is due to hotel manager policy, so when I went to the hotel manager he said it was up to the entertainment and to go complain to guest relations. There I was treated by the older lady as if I was a 5 year old telling her I had a booboo. She understood everything perfectly but couldn’t do anything. The problem was, she didn’t listen or let me finish my sentences and kept repeating: I understand, I understand. Even went as far as asking me if I can understand English and if I know what: I understand means. Then I was told by her that guest satisfaction is the #1 priority of the entire hotel and at this point I just burst out in laughter and left, complaining is utterly useless at this place as there is no one that seems to have any common sense.
We do not mind music or activities, but they have to be enjoyable. For us that simply means join if you wish and relax if you don’t, the 2nd option is simply not possible because of the crazy noise.
I will never go here again, not even if they paid me to stay with them, I truly urge anyone to go anywhere else but here!

Vacationing at this hotel was the worst choice. It is quite dirty for what the stay cost. The used crockery (cutlery, glasses, etc.) is not washed properly, I saw how they just rinsed the glasses collected from other customers, with water, without detergent and then served you the drink. Be careful with the personal belongings put in the safe...so much was insisted at the reception that we use the safe, and after 3-4 days, we were missing 500 euros from the safe. There are no cameras in the corridors, so you can see exactly who enters your room, strange for 5 stars....actually which 5??? This hotel is actually 3 * with maximum indulgence....too bad for the quite good location, by the sea.
The only good thing was the therapeutic massage by Ferit Kose, but, as far as I understand, every year in March he is assigned to another hotel in Turkey, so....it's not even worth choosing this hotel for that.

The vacation was fine till the last day of it. My girlfriend got poisoned by food served in the hotel and was hospitalized. Be careful eating there. No compensation was provided from the hotel, so all of the hospital bills (pills and cub from there) was paid by us. Horrible service that does not care about it's customers
