The room was very VERY small. I could barely sit on the toilet, it's so small that I can't even fit in it.. The breakfast is the worst from lunch and dinner, the service was alright, but most of the workers barely understood anything on English. The music when being in the pool is too loud and I got a headache from it. The minibus is too small and the heat is unbearable. The minibus gets FULL FULL and the people staying are absolutely animals. They barge in the minibus like 'GIVE ME A SEAT' Or something like that. We had the "please clean our room" sign for the whole day and no one cleaned up... Once we had to grab towels ourselves from the cleaners because they didn't put new ones and took the old ones. I don't recommend going to this hotel.

This place should be shut down immediately! It's a shame for the whole hotel industry! They put us in a mouldy room. The smell was horrible. The receptionist said we could change the room the next day because there weren't any other rooms available atm (turned out we were lucky - there were people spending the night in the lobby because didn't get ANY room). The next day a different receptionist said he knew nothing about our planned room change. We had to argue with him for a while until he gave up.
Apart from that no hot water, no free internet, occasionally no beer, boring food, no spa, no nothing.

Terribly dirty rooms. We checked in yesterday, the room is smoky, under the bed someone's things, broken dishes and a lot of garbage. We chose the hotel from a photo on the Internet - this is not at all what it really is.

Stay away from this hotel. It is very dirty, the food is always the same, sometimes it is old, there is a lot of dust and dirt everywhere, the pool water is very dirty, full of hair. The bar drinks are ripped off.

Location is perfect.And very close to center.Really the hotel is a very nice and compact hotel. The hotel has been renovated and the owner has changed. This can be really felt from the hotel's rooms, the poolside and the restaurant. The food is very delicious, I especially recommend the desserts. I stayed for 10 days. We had a really good time with my wife. I would like to thank especially Ahmet Bey, the front office manager. I will definitely come next year.

Akalia Resort is a brand new hotel in a relaxing part of Side. Location is quite good, you can get to the Old Town in walking distance. You can get to the sea with Hotel Service Bus in 10 minutes.
Rooms are completely new, with nice working air conditioner. Nice garden view and spacious patio.
Food service is growing up every day as hotel polishing it's service. Especially, Fish, chicken and salads was delicious. Fresh oven made pita is melting in your mouth.
Stuff is welcoming and friendly, so You may notice for a new hotel service is growing up every day.
Towels are free on pool. You can also get sauna and hamam as extra service. Massage stuff is professionally working with good sense of understanding how to health up your body.

Avoid this hotel. Dirty rooms, dirty towels, disgusting food. The rooms looks like they are not cleaned at all and there is a strong sewage smell. The hotel staff does not understand english at all.

HORROR! The hotel looks very nice from the outside, but the room is very small (I don't think I've lived in such a small room) and quite dirty. In the bathroom, all devices have a malfunction. On the balcony you hit the air conditioner. In the room two people cannot pass each other. The cabinet has no shelves and no support. The TV has only two channels in German. The mattress on the bed was broken. The breakfast is ok, but the restaurant is not very clean. Distance of about 2 km to a messy private beach. There is a minibus. Overall, avoid!

Awful I am there right now with a baby and two other small children . Nothing works A.C doesn’t work fridge doesn’t work tv dose not work. WIFi is soo bad. This is a motel not a hotel. Esther they refund me my money tomorrow or else. So awful! Scary wana cry and I am not even being dramatic. Also 2.5km away from the beach so no we here close. Looks nothing like it does on the pics.

terrible hotel that does not deserve 2 stars. the bathroom smells of sewage, no hot water, a very modest breakfast, the rooms are desperate, the balcony door cannot be locked. the worst hotel in which a sleepover only meets one night.
