Side Lowe Hotel

I'm on Erasmus, and we got this hotel to stay in. I would say the employees and the Staff were quite nice , and happy to help in everything . Hotel, rooms and the service is perfect in here. I would recommend it definitly to book a room here.

I am very happy I picked this hotel, it is a small, charming, clean, lovely hotel right nearby bars, restaurants, beach. The food was lovely, as were the cocktails - all inclusive - which continued on the beach along with a free shuttle service. You have to check the times for the shuttle as not to miss it, but it's honestly fantastic. Hidden little bit around the bar on the beach where a lady makes gorgeous crepes - still all inclusive.
All in all, this hotel stay and all inclusive for around 30 GBP per person was incredible. They have a few special nights with different food and entertainment as well.
The staff in general are pleasant and good, but don't speak a lot of English which can be difficult trying to find out what food is being served, but I asked the receptionist to put description cards down and for the most part, they were there. Serdar made great cocktails, and the was another evening waiter with a white shirt who was incredibly helpful and got us our drinks to the table.
Gevat was a sweet man who didn't speak English but was constantly cleaning and ensuring the place was tidy, really hard worker! Receptionist was great and helpful also.
Shisha is available every night and the guy who does this is very helpful too.
Recommend some excursions such as jeep safari and green canyon.
Don't miss out on Side old town and also the part of the beach the hotel owns but also the beach on the opposite side, loads of great restaurants, live music and bars
Ps got a couple of mosquito bites, come armed with your spray!

Small and quite old hotel. Aircondition is good, it worked and you can adjust it. Approximately 1,5 km from Old Side. Small pool ( so small that You can't swim there properly but grate for ' cooling' while taking sun. ( Sunbeds limited amount)There is also a tiny pool for small Kids. Reception is open 24/7. All inclusive available for extra cost. ( AI: breakfast, Lunch,dinner. Local beverages, like beer, Red and white wine, some drinks and of course soft drinks. Water in bottles, you can get those from pool bar. Also very small variety "afternoon Coffee sweets/snacks) Notice that hotel has own beach: free bus to the beach. Also free sunbeds and bar for AI guests. ( served snacks, soft drink, coffee and Efes beer). Excellent beach, not too deep, so its fine for smaller Kids also.

Some negative things: plumping system doesn't work as goog as it should. Rooms and balcony are too small and needs to be updated. Cleaning: not so effective that it should be. Location could be better. Door's locks doesn' t work properly. there was only one bar employee that gets from me plus. If you tipped them they still didn't " take care you" as they should. ( as far as I know for more than 40 vacations experience in Mediterranian Countries, in Turkiet appx 10 times, min 1 week per time).Often waited something to drink for long time (for example at lunch). It was quicker to go and ask to get those than to wait to be served. Wifi: extra cost (10€) for EVERY family member was way too much!

I've just returned from a great 5 night stay at Lowe hotel. I booked a standard room but got upgraded to Pool view, the room was really tidy and furniture looked relatively new. Had an issue with a lock on the door on arrival but this was solved relatively quickly. The staff was nice and attentive although not all spoke English well but from experience someone else from the staff would step in to help in those rare cases.
It is a smaller hotel with not that many people which was one of the greatest perks to me as due to it you could always find free sun loungers next to the pool and at the private beach as well as a table to sit outside during meal times. It was also a relatively quite hotel although if you are with small children or are an early sleeper should keep in mind that if your room will face the pool, you will hear the music coming from there all day long as if you have a window open, the music also is played until 23:00. Personally I did not mind this as the music was usually quite good, most of the time ranging from popular pop songs to old classics but for someone who is sensitive to noise or is with small children this may be an issue.
There is a private beach to which a free shuttle goes regularly (around 5 minute drive), you can eat lunch at the beach and have unlimited drinks just like at the pool bar back at the hotel. Wifi and safe is extra charge, 2 eur/dollars per day or 10eur/dollars per week but I did not mind this.

Great hotel first holiday we have had in a long time and couldn't fault the hotel or it's staff. Upon arrival we were greeted by Gwrkan and throughout our stay he was lovely always a smile and friendly chat and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was good lots of variety and lush cakes/desserts. Great location. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will be coming back.

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Good variety of hot and cold food. It would be worth paying a little extra for a room with a pool view.

Such a lovely holiday, this hotel was a great stay and definitely worth more than a 3 star. A little lengthy review but worth a read if you wish to stay. Food was amazing, everyday was different and enjoyable. Staff were always available to support, we arrived late and my in laws were given a room on a different floor. We all preferred to have the same floor and Mr Gurkan accommodated this the very next morning. He was helpful with booking transfers, hiring our own car and advising about different places to go. Tugce and Yater- the two wonderful ladies in the restaurant stole our hearts. They were so good with my 3 month old son, often carried him whilst we ate, very genuine and down to earth women, they represent the hotel for us! We think of Lowe hotel and tell people about the staff being so great.

The rooms could be bigger, we were a family of four staying in one room, it was manageable but would be better if the single bed wasn’t in the way of getting to the balcony (still accessible however)
The AC in our room wasn’t great, however my in laws were in another room on the same floor and their AC was great.
It was overall a clean hotel, but could be mopped more and dusted. Bathroom facilities weren’t modern but did the job for a budget holiday and we were quite happy with the size.
We did have to pay for Wifi, which is normally included, in my opinion it isn’t too bad when you get the hotel at a good deal.
Pool side was always busy, this was a downside as we could never get a spot by the time we got out with the baby! Kids pool is rather small, and there is only one large adult pool. Would be nice for another pool somewhere else in the hotel to just give others a chance too.
Spa prices were high, therefore it’s worth looking around for cheaper ones. If you’re confident enough to drive, hire a car!! It works out so much better and you can experience more.
The Billiards table was a highlight for our family, we made so many funny memories and genuinely looked forward to playing.
A massive lacking for this hotel is no Kids Club, if they had something for children in the Game room, it would make this hotel easily a 4 star stay.
We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to friends and families to stay here :)

We had simply a lovely holiday! It’s a convenient hotel with an amazing buffet. They run a free bus to the beach where they offer perfect set for spending the whole day laying in the sunbed. They gave a briefing of activities in Side. Just decent price-quality ratio ☀️🤝

It was such a pleasant holiday! ❤️ The hotel is immaculately clean, room very comfortable with beautiful view. Great location, close to ansient city of Side and shops. Hotel provide excellent service. Free shuttle bus to the private beach. Food is various and good quality! Staff are friendly and helpful! Definitely would like to come back! ❤️ :))
