Leda Beach Hotel

This is a lovely friendly hotel, rooms basic but spacious, clean and outside space. Pool and beach were great and everything in convenient walking distance. Restaurant with good choice on buffet and also lovely beachfront restaurant. Very good value for money and the staff are fab! I think bad reviews are from people who want 5 star facilities for 3 star prices.

A reasonably priced resort really local and accessible in side. The rooms were spacious, clean and had plenty of storage, with plenty of options. there’s 2 restaurants, one closest to the beach and one next to the hotels pool. both of which served amazing food. there’s a little market shop which is great for grabbing essentials. the staff are friendly, talkative and very helpful. we felt very welcomed. one of the best things were the cats which stayed in our room one night which was a magical experience. leaving doors open and they invite themselves in. the guests were all friendly. location wise it was amazing, with a beach right at the entrance, where you can swim and relax also service for drinks. highly recommend

for a 3 star hotel.. it's really good.. the rooms are cleaned every day.. there is plenty of food in the half board. and since it's in the ancient city... you even have a nice view and hardly any car noise.

A lovely hotel with an interesting layout, in beautiful surroundings directly opposite the ancient ruins, and seems to be built into some of the foundation ruins themselves. My room was basic but comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard & the lemons trees, a very secure, quiet and cosy setting. The buffet food was very good, not a huge range but plenty of tasty options and a good price. The mini market on site is well stocked with snacks, drinks & toiletries, and the bar seemed to have plenty of choice (I only walked through on the way to the beach one night!).
Check-in was straightforward and the manager was a very friendly and helpful person, so the arrival (including the walk up the lamplit path to the entrance) makes an excellent first impression 😊 It was a little too cold to try the pool this time unfortunately, but I will be back and will give it a go then!

The very best thing about this hotel however is the cats 😻😍 If you aren't a cat lover, first of all you shouldn't be out in polite society anyway, but secondly this is not the place for you 😂 There are a few who clearly live on site and they make themselves comfortable on whatever balcony or terrace or bed they can find.. I made one little friend during my stay, a kitten I named Lydia who had recently been neutered judging by the telltale stitches (I was so excited to see this level of care being taken for the strays, it's a very common and encouraging thing to see in Side, the attention to animal welfare 🤍), and with the door open she made sure to wake me up every night to get cosy & stay with me until my alarm, then settle down where I'd just gotten up from & go back to sleep haha, she was a little angel so if you stay in room 210 and see her please send her my love 🤗😹

This was my favourite aspect of the accommodation but even without the furry companions it's a very beautiful hotel in the most stunning location - a beach on either side, with the coliseum only 5 minutes walk away and Side centre maybe another 10 minutes after that, no more than a 1 minute drive! The hotel is set in the heart of 'Antik Side' which has had extensive renovations and developments around the ancient ruins, as well as police-guarded barrier entry at the road entrance, so you couldn't ask for a more safe and centred location if history, sun & sea is what you're looking for!

I didn't have any preformed ideas about the area, but I was amazed by how beautiful and inviting it was, it had a very good feeling and I can't wait to come back and stay for longer (and be reunited with Miss Lydia hehe 😹☺️)!

+ All the old ruins are on your doorstep Rooms are very basic but are very clean would definitely return for a short holiday
