Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Chicago

We stayed here almost a week and each day has been an amazing experience. I typically don't right reviews at hotels but I was so impressed with how well this location takes care of you even while there is several large events taking place. When we contacted the front desk at least three times they provided detailed information that was so useful and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. This location has everything we could have hoped for. Just thankful to get to experience such great customer service. The restaurant on site has delicious burgers and wings. The gym is well thought out with beautiful views as well. Thank you so much for the great experience! So glad we were able to have this opportunity to stay at with this Hyatt!

Great views from our room. We had two adults in our room and one of the queens was more like a small double bed. It wasn’t an issue but if it were my family we would not have fit. Pillows are like clouds. My favorite part.

Hotel is very clean. Easy access to the conference center or downtown.

There are two restaurants and a market which has a wide selection of beverages and take and go food.

The gym has more equipment than you can dream about. We were under the impression there was a sauna but I was unsuccessful in locating it. I always love a hot tub but you will have make do with a pool.

Overall pleasant stay.

Awesome place. The service: Excellent. The rooms: Well appointed and meticulously clean. If you can get a room on a high floor, worth the extra money. Check out the views from my south-facing room!
Not to mention the easy access to the lakefront. Went for a morning run on the lakefront. See the sunrise over the lake! Totally worth the price.

Check in process was smooth, front desk agent was very nice. Our biggest complaint with the hotel was that the pillows were so awful that it made for a poor nights sleep. I’d suggest they replace pillows immediately (this seems like such a minor thing and should be an easy fix. I wanted to knock 2 stars off for this but the rest of the hotel was great so I didn’t.)

Side note - we paid for the breakfast package and if my husband wouldn’t have verified that we wouldn’t be charged again for breakfast we would have been - not a big deal but if you do buy breakfast when you book I’d suggest you verify before checkout that they don’t accidentally charge you again for it.

The location is great. The staff is great. Very neat and clean place. Safe parking. Paid more for the lake view from the window...had to smash my face on the window to see it...bottom picture is what was promised, top picture is what we got

Hyatt McCormick was a great hotel in a great location! The views from our room were magnificent overlooking Lake Michigan and the stunning Chicago skyline. The staff was very friendly and even went out of their way to make our room healthier for our family members. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Chicago and would happily return!

This place was one of the three best hotels I have ever stayed at. A magnificent building, very modern, with spectacular views to the south or north with the lake to your left or right depending on where you are. Lupe at the front desk got us a room on the top floor with a south facing view of the lake. We checked in an extra night the next day and got an even higher floor with views of the beautiful Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. Very luxurious. The only thing that bothered me was that the pool was closed two hours early... For what? Was really disappointed by this. Otherwise a very pleasant stay!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The first time I was in an upgraded room and it was wonderful. This time I experienced a medical emergency during my stay and the hotel staff was wonderful. I had to be transported to the hospital and they extended my room until I could get back to get my belongings. They were very understanding and helpful in a very stressful situation. Thank you to the hotel staff for all they did.
