Definitely not worth the price. Is old….need lot of updates. Better chose another hotel.

The Dixie Hollywood Hotel great service and location. We had a great stay at this budget friendly hotel . The check in was awesome
quick and efficient . The clerk was very knowledgeable and helpful . The rooms were stylish , clean and comfortable.
The doors of certain rooms were painted
with various movie themes or characters .
My daughter and granddaughter were over
joked and excited about the Harry Potter themed door . They were there/ Hollywood
to visit Universal studios / Harry Potter. They
had the costume and all . My daughter didn't think to reserve the Harry Potter Rm.
So on our next visit I bet she want for get !

The bad experience started from check-in. I was charged for $25 parking per night and $20 resort or convenience fee, but I was informed of no parking fee when booking. The room is noisy in the night as tge upper stair kept making noise. The window blind is broken and table is extremely small, restroom light switch also control venting, so noisy when using the toilet.

nice place but if your name isn't the one reservation and you forget your key or it malfunctions you'll be outta luck. my key stopped working and cause my friends name was on the room and not mine they kicked me out on the street at 3 am and wouldn't let me back in until my friend came back. other than that the place was great and security was very pleasant

The Dixie Hollywood Hotel is conveniently located near Western on Hollywood blvd. It’s just a short walk from the metro red line which you can take to get to Universal Studios, all the way down to Union Station. You can also hop on a bus and go to the walk of fame in Hollywood. Directly across the street is a shopping center with a grocery store, clothing store, restaurants, etc…
There are a ton of great local businesses so you will have no problem getting what you need if you’re from out of town. The hotel itself is equipped with a pool, clean rooms, and has security so I definitely felt very safe. The staff were all very nice, and I was able to get a 30 min late checkout.
The room comes with a closet, ironing board and iron, hangers, microwave, fridge, smart tv, and writing desk. Plus it’s very clean and quiet. All in all I would say my stay was definitely pleasant and I would stay here again.

Cute complex, great parking & security on-site. So many places to check out walking distance. Great place to stay if visiting family in the hospital just 6 minutes away. Will definitely be back to explore around the area. Staff was very helpful & welcoming. Rooms were clean, only issue was shower head was too low for us, but that didn’t effect our stay. Working refrigerator, microwave, and AC. Quiet at night. Pool is being renovated but wasn’t an issue for us since we were mostly in the hospital.

If you stay there, make sure you are on 2nd floor. On first floor you can hear people through the ceiling.. Not pleasant

I did not expect anything when we booked this hotel. But im happy we booked at this hotel. Very near to everything, on the left is the nearest metro station, walkable! Opposite to the hotel is a grocery and nearby thai foods, beside the hotel is heng chicken rice which is super yummy and affordable! You can take bus or metro to hollywood walk of fame. Can take metro to universal too!
Amenities, there is laundry area which is a plus, make sure you have 8 quarters for washing, another 8 quarters forr drying!
Bed super comfy, im very particulatlr with bugs, but their bed does not have any. No issue with toilet. Microwave and ref is working. Only downside is coffee maker not clean, but you can use microwave to heat water.
Around the area, no homeless or *******. We went out around 12mn to get food at nearby thai restaus, and there was not a single homeless i see. But check where you are walking, there are poops, which i think is common here in US hahaha
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended. I do hope i get to help people booking for places here in hollywood.

This hotel was convenient for parking. It's 25 mins from walk of fame. Walking distance. I wouldn't recommend walking back at night because of all the homeless people around this area. The room seemed clean and plenty of toiletries, towels, body wash shampoo but both nights we stayed we heard something scratching all night that sounded like a mouse or a rat.
