I stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert and it was such a magical experience! Mike is such a kind soul and helped us figure out transportation and the beach. David was so helpful too in helping the whole time. It really did feel like a home away from home - felt so warm and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and historic but our room was renovated and so beautiful and clean. The Swiftie gift bag upon our arrival was such a sweet surprise - they really cared for us!

I’m so disappointed by my stay here. I previously came to this hotel and had a great experience in 2020 prior to the pandemic. When I came this time I requested months prior to have a in the courtyard and was met back a curt email saying they don’t guarantee anything, so I asked if I couldn’t pay more to get a room I wanted? I received no reply. Fine I let it go. The room we received was in the very back building above the breakfast restaurant that smells like curdled milk. Every 2 minutes starting at 8 am we heard a door slam. I woke up so many times. No sleeping in except for with a pillow over my head. Reception was NOT friendly. My disappointment was met with a rude toned “it’s a request not a guarantee” about my
Email and that we could move for more money to a room that was not ready. I was already paying double the price in Canadian. I decided not to because we’re checking out the next day. I think a hotel that gave a crap would care a bit more to fix the situation at least with some friendliness. Too bad.

I loved this little spot! Super amazing staff they gave us recommendations on everything and did not let us down! The bar here was super cute and drinks were great. Room was very comfortable only downfall was the shower pressure was not great I would give hotel a 9/10 only negative was the shower pressure

We stayed in this hotel before and after a cruise. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave great advice on where to eat and what to do. The hotel was within walking distance of much of what we wanted to experience. Rooms were being renovated in part of the hotel, but we were placed in a renovated room. It was beautifully furnished. The 11/12 foot ceilings in the historically rich building were impressive. The bartenders were fabulous. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit NOLA.

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. Location is amazing, we valet parked our car the first day and never drove it out until we checked out because we could walk to every destination on our list. Price is great especially for how close it is to the touristy areas of the french quarter. In a quiet location, nice amenities provided, gave us coupons for the bar and for nearby attractions. Rooms are clean, hot water, nice pool. Only downside we noticed was our room didn’t have a microwave for our leftovers, but not a big deal to us. The hotel has a historical, classy hotel feel for an affordable price. The best part was our experience with all the employees. Every interaction we had with an employee was delightful. Very kind, will give recommendations, and answer any questions you may have. Next time we find ourselves visiting NOLA, we will be booking here again.

Beautiful lobby, nice pool. Although the bar was not very appealing in ambience and decor, the barman made excellent cocktails. Decent shower pressure and thick towels

Great location, friendly staff. Water pressure was more of a drizzle, otherwise lovely room! Very happy with my stay here.

Nice hotel in the french quarter, central enough to walk everywhere and parking tends to be cheaper per night than elsewhere.
My only problem is we had a room facing the street and it was terribly loud. I recommend taking ear plugs just to be safe. The room itself was okay, tad on the small side and a bit dark, but we were only there 2 nights so didn't bother us too much. Bar also closes at 10pm, which I thought was early.

Great hotel perfect location near everything but still quite at night. Rooms and ambience cant be best. The staff are wonderful and it's a great value! The hotel is the former French quarter ice house restored to a hotel of elegance

Loved this hotel!! We had a great room and the location couldn’t have been better. We were able to walk everywhere and still be able to go to sleep at night without hearing noise from the street! We’ll be going back again and staying here again. The room was old and vintage with exposed beams but had all the comforts of home and the air conditioning worked great!

Absolutely beautiful little hotel. Perfect area too. Room was cozy and opened up to the street which was fun. Walking distance to all the major streets in the French quarter and Jackson Square. Loved everything about the hotel. Will definitely be coming back!
