This place is CLEAN! Clean, clean, clean! 👏🏻 We have stayed at a lot of places in NY & you get what you pay for! We paid around $350/night to stay here. The room was small and the toilet flooded but it was clean & that’s what mattered to me the most. I will pay the extra $ to know I’m not sleeping with roaches.

The toilet issue was super annoying and disappointing. Like, why can’t things just go completely smoothly, you know? But sometimes 💩 just happens.. Thankfully, it was clean water too! We called the front desk & they were super efficient. Maintenance came up right away & fixed it then housekeeping came right after to clean the bathroom. After they fixed it and cleaned it, it looked normal again & you wouldn’t have known!

The staff here is also so friendly & professional. They said good morning and good night to us every day. Always greeted us. Held doors open for us & check in/out was super quick! You also can’t beat the location. We walked to
Madison Square Garden in about 10-15 minutes and you’re walking distance to lots of fabulous restaurants.

My only one other complaint aside from the toilet & miniature room size is that once you are in the room, you can hear your next door neighbors very clearly. We couldn’t hear anything from the hallway but once you’re in the rooms, the actual walls separating them are extremely thin. I could join in on my neighbor’s convo if I wanted. 😅 We only had noisy neighbors one morning but something to keep in mind.

I’m not sure we would stay here again just because of the toilet situation but had not that happened, we definitely would!

In 25 years of travel, this is the best hotel I have found in midtown. The rooms are very modern and cozy but not cramped. There is a very generous desk space for working and a quality chair. The staff are great and will offer help for what you need before you even have to ask. The thing that really sets this hotel apart is how it has been brilliantly designed for noise reduction. In most NYC hotels, you will experience some street noise during the night from garbage trucks, sirens, and even loud music from the rickshaws. I’m not sure what architect designed this hotel but they were a genius. Many room windows face the inside courtyard of the block rather than the street. Between that and the think windows, you can sleep without nose. I don’t even hear noise from the hallway which may be in part due to the thick doors they use. It is an oasis of tranquility in a busy city where you can get restful sleep. On Friday night, my friend around the block, at another hotel we keep awake by noise, and I never heard a thing. The near perfect noise reduction and level of quiet here is extraordinary and something I have not experienced in another Manhattan hotel .

Really clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. A few issues with the air con and safe, but quickly sorted. Comfy beds, good housekeeping and some nice freebies like papers and coffee in the morning. The best part is the location. Right next to empire state and only 10-15 mins from times square, right on the green subway line. Would recommend and return.

Pictures look better than it actually is. I paid for a city view and it was horrible. Seen a bunch of dirty roofs from my floor and no actual good view. Room was clean tho and check in and check out was simple. Staff is friendly. Staff was 5 stars but the hotel is 3 stars. The area isn’t great too. If you are a solo traveler I would get something closer to actual time square like NYC Marriott marquis. My first two nights were at that hotel and it was much better

The staff is super friendly and always attentive, ready to help and ensure you have the best stay possible. The hotel lobby is small but very pleasant—you can comfortably sit or work there, and it’s never crowded. They also offer complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. The rooms are smaller than the photos suggest, but they are functional and comfortable. Overall, it’s a good choice for the price.

The room was very clean and cosy. It was also very quiet.

Nice Room but for a no smoking hotel my room has smelled smokie 2 of 4 nights. They sprayed my room and it’s sickeningly sweet.

Update: The hotel manager called me the following morning and was very concerned. He made it right with me even though I did not request anything. There is not much any non-smoking hotel can do but this one went above and beyond. I have changed my rating as a result and will stay there again.

very clean, the service is nice and always ready to help. the higher floors have a good view of the city. the rooms are a tad small but everything is up to date and look clean.

The Good: This is my second stay at this hotel, and I've enjoyed both visits. The rooms are a little smaller than most hotels, but the rooms are very comfortable. They are completely dark at night, and relatively quiet. There's a restaurant attached, The Ainsworth, that offers breakfast. The food is much better than the typical Hilton Garden Inn. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The walk-in shower is nice, but it would have been better if there was a higher shelf. It is also located right down the street from the Empire State Building and within walking distance of several other landmarks.

The Bad: Loud AC, which is pretty typical, but honestly it wasn't that bad because it helped block out city noise.

The Ugly: There wasn't anything that would prevent me from staying here again.

Excellent hotel and location when visiting Midtown for work. Breakfast is great and there's an excellent bar outside on the second floor. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are bigger than most in Manhattan.
