Graduate by Hilton Hotel

Spent a few weeks here while working in the area and it was an absolute pleasure. The staff from start to finish were incredibly attentive and flexible to any needs. The hotel restaurant and bar were so charming and the staff so friendly, they even offered to deliver food to the rooms while they were fully packed for the 4th of July celebrations! The food is a little pricey but absolutely delicious and the creative theme of the rooms was really eye-catching. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A brand new and modern hotel complex with a stunning rooftop bar, a sophisticated restaurant and lounge area. It is a one-stop destination for guests who do not want to run to experience modern luxury in New York. You can hold court with friends, socialize, relax and enjoy dinner in a stunning setting, and also return to your room to relax. All in one, very modern and stylish complex. Oh, did I mention that the panorama of the New York skyline is to die for? You will be able to see the entire skyscraper island from downtown to downtown.

What a gem. Roosevelt Island is an oasis, a calm dot in the flurry of NYC hustle and bustle.

We had a skyline view room on the 14th floor and it was very quiet. No hotel noise, no traffic noise. Don't miss the rooftop bar, even if you just go up to take in the scenery!

A rainy day during our stay was saved by umbrellas loaned out at the front desk and there was plenty of seating for us to tuck ourselves into a corner for an hour between check out and heading to the airport.

Rooms are not huge, but more spacious than most. Bathroom size is great! No substantial wait at the elevators, even during peak times.

Tram station was a 3 minute walk, subway 5 minutes. There is a free red bus that circles the island with a stop directly in front of the hotel. All of those aside, the island is extremely walkable.

Could not get over how peaceful, safe, and picturesque the island is overall... if you've never stayed in the middle of the East River, it's time lol We will be back.

The room and view was superb! Clean room. I checked. Lol. Even the bathroom is cool. It was all so artistic and beautiful.

We spent last week at the Graduate Hilton. Absolutely loved the experience. The close proximity to the variety of transportation methods is a major plus. The skyline views are worth waking up early for! While waiting for other family members to roll out of their comfortable beds, my husband and I walked the peaceful island. Such a beautiful way to start the day. Hotel stay was helpful and friendly, LOVE having the restaurant option ‘in house’. We were there sunday-sunday and we are already looking forward to a return trip. Will absolutely book here!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hilton Graduate! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted my family and me with glowing smiles, making us feel truly welcome. They were incredibly helpful during check-in, even with our energetic toddler running around, which we really appreciated. We also had a fun time with “Fly Boy”!

As for the rooms, I have to be honest—they could have been cleaner. We encountered a few issues but chose to work through them. However, the reason for my solid 5-star rating is entirely because of Steven in the restaurant. He is absolutely amazing—thoughtful, attentive to detail, and incredibly timely.

On our first morning, I ordered water with lemon and a small scoop of honey for my toddler’s cough (something Steven didn’t even know about). To my surprise, every morning after, during our three-day stay, he had it ready on our table without us even asking. That small yet meaningful gesture meant so much to me and truly put the cherry on top of our experience.

His exceptional service is why I overlooked the minor room issues—we felt genuinely cared for. I sincerely hope Steven gets the recognition he deserves! If you stay here (which I highly recommend), be sure to sit in Steven’s section—you won’t regret it!

Checked out this new (and only) hotel on Roosevelt Island and LOVE it. Note, I did not stay here but love the vibe and we did have lunch here and also drinks at the rooftop bar which has spectacular views of the city (separate reviews). The architect for the hotel is Snohetta and they've done an amazing job. Walls are lined with over 10,000 text books, there's lots of greenery. Make sure you check out the bathrooms with their Roosevelt wallpaper. We were there on a Friday and took note of people checking in - couples, families and lots of flight crews (Singapore Air was especially fabulous). I will be back to check out the hotel and the restaurant/bar seasonally. I have a feeling it will be spectacular in the winter.

Hotel looks nice. Service by phone was not competent. Panorama rooftop has great views. Cornell Tech school nearby is beautiful.
