As Door Ambassador, he greeted us with warmth, helped with luggage, offered directions, and was always ready with a smile and assistance. His courteous presence and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome every time we stepped in or out. A true gentleman and a standout part of our stay.

Al Mercado truly embodies the spirit of hospitality. As Assistant Operations Manager, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable—especially for my sister’s milestone birthday. From the thoughtful touch of wine and biscuits in her room to espresso martinis and cookies in mine, his gestures were deeply appreciated. I had requested a little something for her room to mark the celebration, and Al came through with care and kindness. His welcoming smile and genuine attentiveness reflect everything a guest could hope for in a hotel experience.

For Pedro – Park South Hotel

Pedro greeted our entire family with warmth and kindness, and left a lasting impression. He welcomed our large group—three sisters, our families, and our elderly mom—with ease and enthusiasm. Without being asked, he came outside the hotel and offered to take a group photo so that all of us could be in the frame. That simple act captured the joy of our gathering. I truly missed seeing him on the day we left, as I wanted to thank him in person. His hospitality was heartfelt and unforgettable.

We booked a room with two queen beds and were a little worried as some reviews said it was a small room, but for NYC, I wouldn't say it was small. Three people were able to move about. Plus, you are in NYC how much time are you spending in the room?

When we arrived, we were offered water (and every time we came in from outside). At night, they had wine for those who enjoy a drink. The best part was in our first room, the deadbolt didn't work. Always wanting to be safe, we called down and they immediately moved us and even had the bellhop come up to move our bags for us.

Things can always go wrong, so it's all about how you handle it. I am happy to report that they handled it beautifully, and this may be our go-to hotel in the city. Reasonably priced with good quality and experience, and very quiet in the rooms, which is always a big plus in the city!

How I rate:
1 - Openly tell people how bad it is and passionately tell them not to go there.
2- If asked, I will say I didn't like it, but won't go out of my way to pan it
3. Not something I would bring up or talk passionately about, but if someone asked, I would say they should enjoy it, nothing special.
4. I will recommend this place and will go there again!
5. I will tell you how good this place is and have great stories I can tell about how it is above and beyond other places.

We had such a great time here at PSH! Ernesto, the manager was very accommodating of us from the moment we arrived. We had great service by Mohamed and his other colleagues as we went about the hotel. Also, Francesca at the front desk and her colleague were also super sweet and even gave great local recommendations. We enjoyed our stay - clean comfy and stylish!

Good location for hotel. rooms were somewhat small but expected for NYC.

The room is clean but it's really small, I got a room that's behind the lift , it is so noisy the whole day like the train is running around.

We always enjoy staying at this small, pleasant hotel. The facilities and rooms are good, but what really stands out is the very helpful and professional staff.

Really enjoyed our week stay at this hotel. Chuck the doorman was a highlight, he is super helpful and always on hand if you need anything. All of the front desk staff were really pleasant and accommodating. The room was really great, super spacious especially for New York! Can’t really fault the hotel at all, location is ideal if you don’t want to stay on Times Square as everything is walkable. Would definitely come back here!!

Excellent service, and clean
In nyc for a wedding with my wife. Wanted a clean and relatively new place for the weekend. This was small but very nice.
