Where to stay in Orlando

The only thing I can say, is the access into the parking lots are tricky sometimes, the key doesn’t work too well and you have to keep entering the card room key in order to gain access into different parts of the hotel. Other than that, it was a very perfect stay!!! Staff is incredibly friendly and there is quite a few places to eat in and around the resort! Plenty if things to see and do with a bar...

We live about an hour away from the parks but wanted to stay at a Universal hotel to make our time away from work more convenient and relaxing. Having such a close proximity to the parks was great. If you stay at the hotel, walk over to the Sapphire Falls hotel to take the water taxi instead of taking the buses to and from City Walk. It is much more relaxing and enjoyable. First time my wife and I have stayed at any Universal resorts and it will definitely not be the last!!! Loved the retro decor, these ease of checking in, the shops, food and bars . Good room but needs touch ups badly. We stayed in the family suite 2 bedroom with volcano view ...paid a pretty penny just needs some touch up. The housekeeping staff is amazing very sweet. I freaking love this place. The first day we stayed it rained but there is so much to do here. They have an arcade room, bowling, a bunch of food, shopping, you name it. The second day we stayed we got to enjoy the pools, and lazy river. They have a place to buy Cool rafts. The bars offer a drink mug which you can put another drink in for a discounted price. The hotel is cost-effective and it is very convenient to book the shuttle bus to Disneyland in advance. It is noisy at night because there is a bar on the first floor, but it is relatively quiet after the bar ends. The sanitary conditions are relatively good.

The room was nice but you had to pay $49 per night for entertainment facilities, but we didn't use them. The hotel is close to Disneyland but far from Universal.

My husband and I were attending a business meeting. We booked for one night only at $300 plus dollars and our room was on the sixth floor but facing the Lobby. We were not able to get any sleep because of the noise from the Bar which is located next to the check in. There was yelling and shouting well past 1:30 am. Excellent stay. We had a great time at the pool, and it didn't get busy until the weekend. Lots of poolside activities to keep everyone occupied. The laser light shows at the pool every night was fun and entertaining. Longitude and Latitude restaurant downstairs had the best lunch service and good food. Appreciated the free shuttles to and from any park in Disney World.

The hotel is large in scale, there are a lot of people during the spring break, the facilities are perfect, and the breakfast is rich. The water playground in the hotel is suitable for both adults and children, and there is also a golf training ground. The hotel also has a Disney ticket sales point, and the shuttle bus to Disneyland needs to be booked in advance.

Everything, amazing accommodations. Great room service and restaurants. Loved the pools! And having Starbucks on site was a bonus.

Overall great stay and location. Would love for website to post where townhouse availability is because we would have chosen one closer to an open pool since main one down for maintenance (which we knew about ahead of time). The resort as a whole is really nice. However for the money it's costs to stay here, the rooms could be better. The bathrooms are small and not configured to be accommodating. I stayed at the Dolphin with my family and overall had a good experience. The biggest benefit of the Dolphin (and Swan) is that you get direct access to the boats that take you to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Nice place and all, but its certainly engineered to nickel and dime you as much as possible. I bought a bottle of water in one of the shops and it was $7.50. That is insulting to me. This review is for the ice, not the hotel. My only complaint is the 22 dollars for a parking lot, considering a family of four will start spending at a minimum 150.00. Parking should be a courtesy. We have a time share, but could only use Friday to Friday. This didn't fit our schedule... What a pain.... But, I booked a room the night before. It was a great and enjoyable experience

I go to Orlando once a month with my mom because we have WDW annual passes. We've been trying different hotels each time because we're trying to optimize. Coronado Springs is the only one that I prefer to this Hilton, thus far. Disney Springs is pretty cool, and you can walk there (using pedestrian bridges) from the hotel. My only gripe with it is the extremely high resort fee.

We had a great trip. I wish we could have received a late check out but they did store luggage until our flight times.

The location is perfect for a short walk to Disney Springs! The lazy river is awesome! The room was spacious! The buffet at Letter Press was very impressive and food was great. We were super impressed with the gluten free bread choices and the dedicated gluten free toaster! You have no idea how important that is for my daughter with celiac!

Hilton looks a bit old and other than that is okkkk in general I’ll rate it a 7/10

Nothing great about this hotel. Not very clean. Some staff really nice and some quite unfriendly and unhelpful. First room smelt and was damp and wet I had concerns about mould. So cold no option to turn the AC off it kept turning on. Mediocre stay overall wouldn't stay again.

Very nice ambient for business stay. Very cool and peaceful place surrounded by trees and with a very nice pool. The swimming pool is nice, and when I arrived, there were welcome cookies that taste very good! Check in and check out process is easy, and fast, workers here are helpful and friendly.

There is no view of Disneyland at all, false advertising, but the hotel is ok.

A very surprising vacation experience. The hotel park is very large and the green environment is very beautiful! The swimming pool is large, has ladders and has its own rafting area. Children can go there every day and stay in the hotel all day and feel very relaxed. It's very close and convenient to go to the Disneyland.

The bed sheets in the room always have a stinky smell from not drying. There are no toiletries in the room, so remember to bring your own. There are no slippers. There is a capsule coffee machine and two bottles of mineral water. It would be better to book a high floor if possible. There are no restaurants or supermarkets within walking distance, so you need to take a taxi. There are two restaurants...

Good experience overall but fell short on service at the cafe in lobby area. Two days in a row, staff at the cafe left my coffee on the counter while I was standing few feet away without any attempt to alert me my order was ready. The resort is conveniently located close to the major attractions, has a good value for it's money and caters towards families with children. I liked that they have a few amenities that the kids and adults enjoy. My young kids enjoyed the huge pool, splash pad and game room and they frequented these areas a lot during our trip. We stayed for my daughter's cheer competition. Rooms were average however the customer service was too notch!! The pool was extra nice and the had life guards on duty at all times. Stayed twice now and overall very pleased with a few things. Location is perfect and most things are 10/20 min drive. Rooms are nice, usual Orlando look and feel but the beds are really comfy. They don’t provide bottled water which is surprising considering the price of the rooms. The queue to check in was crazy long so buffer time.

Really close to the Universal parks Room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. Rooms and hotel in general was very clean We were checked in with no issues, staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is perfectly situated for access to islands of adventure, citywalk and universal studios. It is either an 8 minute walk or a few minutes in a water taxi direct to citywalk. The express passes were a lifesaver when it was very busy at the parks plus early entry was good.

Easy walk or boat ride to Universal Studios park Bed was comfortable. If you’re going to the theme park and need a rest break, this is so close to Universal that you can do that. Clean Excellent service! Arrived at 6am to get my unlimited express passes. Staff was really friendly

Very nice and clean units. The kitchen comes basically fully equipped with whatever you need. However parking is abysmal at night time and the unit I stayed in had a minor bug problem. Beautiful pool.

Nice location, beautiful resort. We have what is supposed to be a handicapped Accessories room ,the shower have no grab bars, the shower floor have no Slip strips, the shower floor is very slippery. The handicapped parking is on the wrong end, steps are in front of the the handicapped parking you have to go down the walkway to in front of the building then go back up to the elevator to the second...

There is always something to do. They have an itinerary and the service is spectacular. I have no complaints.

Staff is so knowledgeable and pleasantly helpful. My Grand daughter loves the staff at the Activity Centre. If you need an item for your villa it is at your door within 30 minutes.

Big rooms with many amenities like kitchen, washing machine. 2 showers 2 bedrooms and living room that is very comfortable for families. The rooms are old fashioned design but everything works and it was clean. the hotel is fairly priced and i would say it is good value for money. Bottom line recommend.

This was just the place I needed for my Orlando vacation! The resort was such a sweet community filled with tons of amenities from the pirate ship pool and mini golf to the restaurant and pool tables. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. The resort is awesome for kids and the staff is super friendly. Centrally located near lots of activities, shopping, and restaurants. The pool grill is really great too. Nothing but praise for the Marriott Harbour Lake.
