Orlando World Center Marriott

Upon arrival, which we were only going to a resort with a pool, we were informed upon check-in that the main pool was closed. At that time we were given the opportunity to leave without being charged. We were not advised in advance and we really put a huge damper on the trip. We were so disappointed after a six hour drive that we decided to check and try another hotel with their pool. We checked in and needless to say it was not what we saw in the pictures and even more of a disappointment. The two of us are literally in tears. We checked out of the second hotel. We called the manager back at the Marriott we were originally going to stay at and he picked us up, but he also upgraded us to the nicest room in the entire hotel. Back at the Marriott, the hotel staff, activities, food and kiddie pool we had were spectacular, including the amazing fireworks display they had on the golf course. I can't thank the front desk manager Jonathan enough for going above and beyond as two disappointed women were so upset. We appreciate it and would be willing to book another stay with them. I give them over 5 stars for making our memorial weekend unforgettable. With the renovation of the main pool, this hotel will be the first choice for any family wishing to visit this wonderful resort. Thanks again to the manager and staff!

Great location! Hotel is clean and we had a lovely stay! Rooms were comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Great spot to relax! Beautiful golf course. We walked the walking track several times. Great way to start the day. Close to Disney and Universal so it was easy to get to both. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful but extremely large hotel. Great for a conference center or large company meeting due to the sheer amount of conference space and meeting room space. Also has great restaurants and they do a good job of keeping conference attendees away from the rest of the guests.

Very nice resort with a talented staff. All the restaurants were very nice. There is a nice running track around the property totally a bit over 1 mile. I attended a conference so I didn't get to use all the facilities. The pool area and golf course looked nice. The rooms were nice and clean, however our view wasn't the best. The staff was really top notch.

I stayed here for a convention. This hotel is SO nice. The food at the hibachi restaurant in here was amazing. The poolside can be both relaxing and fun with a slide for the kids (and of course the children at heart), a hot tub under a cool rock bridge, and an awesome laser night show. Need coffee and or breakfast? There are two starbucks inside the hotel and a breakfast buffet. One night, we went to the sports bar restaurant in the lobby. The food was amazing and the waitress was very nice. All-in-all, I loved staying here and plan on coming back again to stay in one of the villas.
