Such a nice property!

The staff was super friendly from the front desk, to the breakfast crew - every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile. So refreshing!

While this building is very old with lots of history, the rooms are updated and modern. Our room was comfortable with lots of space for luggage, etc. The mini fridge came in very handy. The shower was large, spotlessly clean, with great water pressure, and the hot water comes in instantly.

Breakfast buffet was okay - the eggs were a nice surprise as they were topped with green onions. Sausage was greasy but that's usually the case at these things. Lots of fresh fruit to choose from.

Not a bad hotel, it is a pity that there is no safe in the room but there is an option with Deposit box.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and it is a great choice if you want to visit the museums and monuments. It's a short walk to the mall and is surrounded by great restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is pretty good and not too expensive. The rooms are clean. This stay we got an odd corner room that a bit weirdly shaped and the floor creaked a lot. But it had a nice, big window. Parking is outrageous, and three valet is difficult to get ahold of, but that's true of all DC hotels.

The hotel was clean and in a great location, and I will definitely stay here again. The reason I’m writing this is to comment on how amazing every single person was that I came in contact with. I really felt treated like a big shot and the service is extraordinary! When you walk through the front door and every time we walked in and out somebody said thank you or hello and greeted us at the front desk was amazing! One of The best customer service experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. Bravo folks! You made a raving fan!

Great hotel, friendly staff and awesome location. A few blocks from a ton of museums, and in the center of some of the best food DC has to offer. I highly recommend trying The Smith and NOPA bot right across the street. Hotel itself was quiet enough and affordable. There's a pool and jacuzzi if that is your jam, as well as a fitness center, full breakfast and Starbucks!

We drove their and had a car, so we decided to use the valet service offered by the hotel. The valet was very nice but he rushed us. He kept telling one of us to go check-in and the other to empty the car (in a polite manner), but in all the hustle and bustle we forgot some stuff in the car. Anyways the hotel was clean and staff was great. They had a valet service for our bags too (on the day of check-out, we ask them to hold our bags at the hotel in the lobby so we could go explore a bit more, and then when we were ready to leave, they returned our luggage to us). That was great! Valet brought car in great time (they say to provide them 30-40minutes to pull up the car). We also had their breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was nice and greasy and a wide variety of foods, seating area was nice, and with your breakfast you got coffee or a variety of juices to pick from. I would stay their again!

This hotel is built out of an old bank and is really clean, elegant and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here in a suite with two small kids and the room price was relatively affordable. It's right across the street from the International Spy Museum and several good restaurants including Shake Shack. I would have given it five stars, but the room service and breakfast menus are ludicrously expensive -- $16.75 per adult for continental breakfast. Otherwise it was awesome!

Comfortable rooms, extremely helpful/friendly staff, excellent location (walking distance to National Mall, Penn Quarter and China Town). Very reasonable price for staying in prime location. Make a reservation today...you won't be disappointed.
On another note, the hotel building was a bank in a former life. The interior structure is a treat to see, the kids will enjoy seeing the vault door located downstairs and there is plenty of teaching oppurtunities while pointing out interior architectural features.

Great location, near National Mall, White House, and arena. Very cool old bank building with a Gordon Biersch restaurant attached. Front desk staff was very friendly and attentive there, as well!

In a nice area and less than a block of the metro station. Couple of blocks away from the White House. Room is a decent size with basic amenities such as microwave, frig, and tv. No thrills. While receptionist gave me two welcome gifts, enthusasim wasn't there; minus one star.
