We were greeted at the hotel by Alex who was wonderful. He was very kind and caring and introduced us to a beautiful view. Teddy at the valet was also very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay at the Watergate again and again. Thank you !

This is the hotel where the Watergate incident occurred, and it has a very historical feel. However, the hotel room facilities are average and the sound insulation is very poor. The gym is actually very good, and there are foam rollers you can use.

One of the best hotels I've had the privilege of staying at. I reserved the Diplomat suite but received a complementary upgrade to the Ambassador's suite. The room was breathtaking. The master bathroom had the best shower on the planet. While I appreciate the fully stocked fridge, the TV is still a bit in the stone age with the lack of streaming services, and an underwhelming on-demand selection. Lastly, it was difficult to reach front desk and valet from the room so be prepared to manually walk down and request your vehicle. Overall, very satisfied with my stay.

The amenities (pool, hot tub, ballroom, bar, restaurant, shops, etc) were impressive and I wish I would have made more use of to be honest. Above all, the staff was very kind and eager to help whenever possible. They really made me feel cared for :).

I'm giving four stars only because of Tyler. He was a gem and very helpful, professional and courteous. Unlike Constance who was not helpful at all and might want to reconsider working in a service oriented profession. After trying to get her help for 3 hrs (!!!) with a room change that was on them (!!!) and me not feeling well to boot she just didn't care, at all. Luckily Tyler came and took care of our room change in 10 minutes (or this would have been a two star review at best) . It's one thing to be new at your job but try your best, but being completely indifferent is not acceptable.
Other than the widely varied service experience described above, the location is great, the hotel is nice, the other employees were nice also and the overall vibe was good. The restaurant was overpriced but decent.

Great hotel but beware of junk fees. The room was wonderful, the service was excellent, and I honestly enjoyed this hotel a lot, and the staff were all so wonderful and very friendly. Now don't get me wrong, I knew I would have a charge when I checked out of the hotel, and I did use room service once. But I was not expecting as large a bill as I got, and I was not expecting such a big resort fee every night I stayed. That definitely left a sour note in my mouth. So long story short, hotel was great, but left not happy that not all the charges were upfront before I checked in
