Attention is needed to improve the breakfast offering with more selections
Unfortunately I witnessed one of the Managers making a staff member cry in public on the first floor bar reception yesterday lunch time, this was very unprofessional and he should have taken the staff aside in a room out of customers views! I did not pay for that as a n addition - I believe his name is Rafael, I spotted him a few times huddling with staff in different areas, but the conversation just looked casual not formal.. this is the reason for my score of 3 for service it would be 5 had I not seen the manager
I would like to commend the [Russian] staff in cafe naseem, both at reception and floor runner - the floor runner took my special drinks request and had it prepared by the chef - she is always seen smiling - she should be promoted -
Disha in first floor lounge was very warm and welcoming and made sure my elderly mother was taken care of whilst I was away
The Kids club is a great place for kids. The swimming pools and the beach make the stay more enjoyable.
I think my son spent his best holidays at this place. He can't stop talking about it
First impressions were not great, we didn't know that tax wasn't included in our price. They then told us there was construction, we went to the pool and the view to the beach was completely blocked off which was disappointing. We finally found access to the beach via the Zanzibar restaurant which was amazing and then we were really able to enjoy our time.
I booked via the hotel's website, they didn't provide any follow up or confirmation email so it wasn't clear if the booking had gone through, I had to call to confirm. I also called to ask about arranging a birthday cake/balloons but it was never followed up and it seems they didn't take note of it.
Upon arrival I was informed that there was construction on site, I was a little hesitant however the on going developments of the property were NOT intrusive at all.
Every single member of staff we encountered were so friendly, such warm genuine greetings throughout the hotel.
The gentlemen working on Valet and the Doormen were super kind and helpful. Fatima & Meryem at check in were an absolute pleasure, they even arranged an early check in.
We enjoyed the pool, and the pool bar staff were also so kind and helpful.
The Softouch spa, THE BEST massage ive ever had! Both Manu & Arie were exceptional at their treatments.
We enjoyed dinner in the Italian which also had the very best service, and breakfast was as good as any top Dubai hotel!
Although our room was dated, it was clean, spacious and Arabian themed with a beautiful sea view (502 Twin)
I would absolutely come back to this hotel again, I live within the UAE so I will be coming to use the Spa again also!
