The reception was wonderful, and the hotel celebrated our special occasion. They also upgraded our room as a gift. It truly deserves five stars — excellent location, responsive to requests, and very clean. I couldn’t find anything negative to mention. An experience worth repeating.

Overall a great hotel with great location and amenities.

We were disappointed a little bit about drinking water bottles in our room that they can provide only one big water bottle per day and we had to call again and again to accept provided us some water!!

Other than that, the pool was fantastic and the beach. Cleanliness of the hotel is something to highlight ❤️

First time in the UAE. We booked a room with breakfast only, and upon check-in we were given breakfast and dinner as a bonus. The food is very good, although drinks at dinner are extra, but you can easily quench your thirst with watermelon and melon. There is a kettle in the room, a 1.5 liter bottle of water, tea, and coffee. Everything is replenished daily.

Friendly staff, speak Russian, always tried to help when contacted (and helped).
Every day they wanted to clean the room and change the linen. We were satisfied with the daily change of towels.
For the first time in a hotel I saw 2 washbasins in the bathroom - convenient.
There are many sun loungers on the beach. But by 8 am there are usually no more places. The beach is very clean. Comfortable entry into the water. The water is crystal clear. This is especially noticeable in comparison with the sea in Dubai. Clean beach towels are always available. I can't say anything about the pool - we did not use it.
Food. Food for every taste. Fish, chicken, and meat. A huge number of cold appetizers. Even traditional Russian dishes - buckwheat and semolina porridge. Always watermelon and melon. For breakfast, they cook scrambled eggs or an omelet in front of you in any form and with any additives. In general - an excellent buffet. A nuance - for lunch and dinner any drinks for an additional fee. The room itself is very spacious, the bed is huge.
The lighting seemed strange - at night there was not enough light. I was also surprised by the very small closet. If the vacation is long, you will have to use your imagination about storing things. For a beach hotel it is extremely important to have simple devices for drying clothes such as a clothesline.

Overall, I was left with a very pleasant impression. Sleeping under the rustle of the surf is very cool (if your room is on the sea and the weather allows). Reko!!!

I have stayed in November. All good. Quick check in. Clean room. I needed to shorten my stay and reservation desk did it with no hassle. Thank you to Sajad to keep my room clean and tidy. Well done.

I had a wonderful time at Occidental . The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything I wanted to see. I especially want to thank Kiran ,he served us well and did everything we asked him to do. I really enjoyed the breakfast and would definitely stay here again!

Occidental Sharjah Grand was the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The hotel has a calm atmosphere with plenty of space to unwind, both by the pool and on the beach. The beach is very family-friendly, with shallow, calm water – ideal for both kids and adults.

The food selection wasn’t huge, but everything tasted fantastic and was made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. Quality over quantity, and you could really tell!

The cleaning was impeccable. A special thanks to Sohel from the cleaning team – he was always smiling, welcoming, and made sure everything was spotless and inviting.

Overall, a wonderful place to unplug and enjoy a peaceful vacation.
