Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort

Fairmont by the name only!
I had been to quite a few Fairmont hotels and by far its a strangest one so far!
Pros:
- amazing staff
- great location
- great and convenient room service

Cons:
- Rooms are hit and miss!
First room was humid, smelling really strange and outdated, but was replaced by better option
- Food is a disaster! Buffet has very limited options, food is not tasty. Eating in the other restaurants on the premises didn't help. Ordered a sea food plate for lunch with two non alcoholic beverages just to get a stale, tasteless pile of mediocre food! Paid 285 aed for it(
Just to compare, for the same money we had an amazing food experience in steik restaurant in umbrella beach, with wagyu beef tartar, chicken souvlaki and two salads, sides and drinks!
- There is no place to enjoy evening entertainment. Only two small bars are open with limited options and long waiting time for service

Service was good but too slow. Room was sometimes smelly and humidity was making the floor wet and slippery since AC was not working so well

A wonderful holiday in a wonderful hotel. Ideal value for money. We were given a magnificent room on the 12th floor with a gorgeous view, we did not think that it would be so big and beautiful. The photos on trip.com do not convey what is in the room and how big it is. The four of us with 2 children were very comfortable. A good heated pool for children and adults. We took accommodation only with breakfasts. This suited us quite well, because we cannot sit in the hotel all the time) Breakfasts are quite good. Many complain about the monotony, but we liked everything. You can order lunch to the hotel Careem, etc. We went to Dibba gate (10 minutes), where the fruit market is, or you can take a taxi to Dibba (25 dirhams), if you call it yourself. There is also a bus from Fujairah to Dibba (you need to catch it with your hand). It also stops at Dibba gate. There is a wild beach nearby, to the right of the hotel, but we went to the beach of the Royal Beach hotel (near Dibba rock) and swam there with turtles in the evening. And there is also a liquor store there;). In general, for the money that the hotel cost us on Trip - this is the best you can find. The hotel is beautiful, the sea, even at the end of February, is warm enough to snorkel for an hour (it might be a bit chilly for children).

The hotel was very nice and the food was good. Chef Mohamed was very friendly and made sure we had the food we could eat for me and my kids. The staff at the reception, restaurant, and valet parking are really good. The beach access area is a bit small, yet the swimming pools are quite big and nice. The room is beautiful with a nice view yet it had a bit of a smell in the bathroom. We loved our stay there

We had an amazing stay with our two children. The staff is very professional, lovely and attention to detail. They have a great sense of hospitality.
The accommodation is very comfortable and luxurious. There’ everything one’s need for a perfect holiday.

I loved my stay in this hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the hotel staff was very helpful and polite. I loved the pool era and the animations. The entertainment team was amazing especially Mo 🙂 he made sure our stay was amazing, fun and unforgettable. He is funny and easygoing we loved the entertainment that he organized. He always welcomed us with a big smile 😊 Thanks to him we weren’t bored and had the time of our life ❤️

A special mention must go to Don, the talented and friendly bartender who made our evenings even more enjoyable. His professionalism, attention to detail, and warm demeanor truly stood out. Don crafted exceptional cocktails and added a personal touch to each interaction, making us feel even more welcome.

The attention to detail, combined with the kindness and thoughtfulness extended to us, made our stay a truly one-of-a-kind experience. We left the Fairmont feeling deeply touched and with many cherished memories.
