It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Absolutely atrocious experience during our stay during the Eid holiday. The change in management has downright stripped this hotel of its reputation.
The food, drinks and quality of service has significantly declined since we first visited it in 2021.
From the golf cart drivers to the staff at reception, nobody cares about the guests, all they care about was pushing their all you can eat BBQ buffets and massage packages.
Safe to say, will not recommend and ever visit again!

The rooms were amazing. Activities were not that great and plus it’s very expensive.
But the services were not great. The staff was not well aware the happenings. Call for a buggy 3 times and they will come pick you up an hour later which is why we were late for breakfast as well and when had informed the guest services this their answer was it’s busy.
Hospitality should be the priority of these kind of businesses.

Definitely not what I expected! My key-card was not working for some reason (according to them, it was because I kept the card with my phone). Hours after informing the reception, no one came. My husband had to go to the reception to get the key-cards fixed.
Being a 5-star hotel resort, service should always come first for the hotel management. Beautiful place but definitely the worst service.

We recently stayed at Cove Rotana and had a mixed experience. The pool and beach were amazing, with a wide property offering stunning views. However, the rooms were quite small. We upgraded for a bigger room, decent however, it’s very far from the beach. Wide selections for breakfast but additional 122dhs for our guest is bit expensive.
The biggest frustration was with the slow buggies from the beach. Waiting 20-30 minutes in the heat was a downside. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel is gorgeous. There are electric cars running throughout the hotel that you can call or catch to get to the sea if you live on the top of the hotel or to the restaurant if you live below. The sea was very warm in May. At low tide it is shallow. We saw fish, crabs and starfish right off the shore. The food is very varied and tasty. For breakfast - pancakes, pancakes, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts, omelettes, eggs, smoothies... Everyone can find something to suit their taste. For lunch and dinner every day there was seefood (shrimp, squid and fish) only in different sauces. Meat - lamb, duck, chicken, kebab. There was also pasta and vegetables always. Only for breakfast there was always watermelon, and during the day and evening there were two types of melon, grapefruit, kiwi, apples.

The huge advantages of this hotel are a gorgeous, large and well-kept area, a very varied, tasty and fresh food in the buffet for breakfast, wonderful clean rooms and an excellent large beach with a clean seabed! And also many thanks to the hotel staff, and in particular Anastasia, for their attention to the guests! The way you take care of each guest is worth a lot! Thank you for not leaving my review unattended and not limiting yourself to a routine response, finding the lost item, contacting us and returning it :) And thanks to the hotel driver, a very polite and punctual young man. We'll come back to you again, now we like the hotel even more!)

An excellent place with a private beach, there is Rixos nearby, so if you compare, Rixos is worse because it has a smaller pool and the area is not so comfortable. The beach is very large, the water is clean and clear, and the waters are large. Taking pictures in the pool is prohibited, idiotic rules. The food is delicious, the cook is good. The plumbing is new, the hotel is well maintained, there is free parking under the hotel. Masks and water are provided at every step.

It was honestly a great experience. I have been to many resorts before, but this one was the best of all. Outstanding hospitality, amazing food with loads of varieties and awesome location. When we went for a stroll inside the resort, for a moment I felt as if I am roaming on the streets of Venice or somewhere similar. It's a beautiful place for a staycation, very calm and serene.
Highly recommended !!
I just request the resort authority to offer good affordable deals, so that more and more people could enjoy staying at this place.

Planned to spend our anniversary at The Cove Rotana. Unfortunately the overall experience was not a good one. Location was good, however the rooms, service, friendliness of the staff was not up to the mark. Due to the rain, our room was filled with water. This was reported at around 8 am where we still had 6 more hrs of stay left, no action was taken to either help us change the room or resolve the issue. Cleaning staff was sent who was trying to his best to clean the mess, however he removed water from 1 balcony and it would re-enter from the other balcony door. While check out when this was informed as a feedback, the front desk just smiled and said OK. The front desk who are the face of any resort should be welcoming and full of enthusiasm which this hotel lacks. Buggy drivers were really hard working and deserve to be recognized. Staff is not trained at the restaurant as well to handle the public.
