Description
The original architecture of the hotel with the most developed infrastructure in Fujairah and high level of service. Suitable for all categories of tourists. Large green area with an artificial river, bridges, small waterfalls. Excellent, varied food, spacious rooms. Wonderful hotel for a family holiday. Have Russian speaking staff. Since Dubai is a 1.5 hour drive, shoppers are encouraged to take a combo pack: a few days in Dubai + holiday in Fujairah. When you check takes a Deposit.

Location: at the foot of the Hajjar mountains, on the coast of the Indian ocean, 50 km from the city of Fujairah, in 145 km from the airport Dubai.
Included in the group of STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS.
Basically a 21-storey building with 218 rooms (all with ocean views).
Total area: 62 m2 692.
The hotel has 218 rooms with panoramic views of the picturesque gardens, pool and the vast expanses of the ocean.
Beach: own sandy beach in 50 m from hotel (1st coastal line). On the beach umbrellas, deck chairs, towels: free of charge. The entrance to the sea sand. The beach is 230 m. the pool towels, umbrellas, deckchairs: free of charge.

- When dining at restaurants Gonu Bar & Grill, Taste, Swaad, guests will be credited a loan of USD/21 $ per person, which will subsequently be deducted from the main account.

Alcoholic beverages are served only during lunch and dinner, in the hotel bars.
Extra fee will be charged by the hotel on the guest's account when ordering delicacies such as caviar, lobster, tiger shrimp, marbled beef (wagu beef).
Guests, vacationers programme "HB, FB, AI & AIGOLD" if desire to visit other places of the hotel will receive a loan: Lunch is $ 19 per adult, Dinner - 27 $ per adult. Child credit does not apply.
During Ramadan and other religious holidays of a possible adjustment programme food, which the hotel will report further.

An OG, authentic hotel offering along the years excellent service and amenities. One of my favorite hotel in the world !
I can’t praise enough the Staff, all graced with an excellent attitude and offering the best customer experience: from the pool, to the restaurants, shops and reception.
A special mention to PHYO our room cleaning agent who was the kindest.
The beach side is probably the best of the whole stretch, with plenty of palm trees for a unique vibe.
I’ve tried many of the hotels there but Le Méridien is the best for me: staff, location, unique vibe. I hope it will remain forever without massive transformation as we all return there again and again for its unique charm and the memories it holds.
They are currently undergoing discrete room renovation: noise is minimal and we were at the pool side anyway. Felt like usual.
The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the facilities(pool area , beach area, outdoor restaurants and gardens) are well maintained. 🌺☀️⛱️
We celebrated our anniversary and the hotel staff went above and beyond with special decoration and a complimentary cake to our room.❤️
We will definitely come back for our next visit!
Hotel staff from day one till check out were all friendly and professional. They met all our requirements and needs while our stay.
They provided a very good room as per our request.
But be prepared the rooms and furniture are old. Carpets in the rooms and coroners have smell. That are it a hit unpleasant while our stay.
1. They will not allow you to order food from outside. If you do, you will have to collect your food from the gate which is like half kilometer away from the hotel reception for they do not allow deliveries within their premises!
Poor Talabat delivery guys, they were waiting for us in the heat outside and at the gate!
2. Beware of their cleaners, they are little spies!
3. The buffet spread is not exciting. They had a big spread of buffet, however, the soups (in the morning) were the same every day.
4. Chefs and/or cooks tend to ignore you if you are not local or western.
5. The baby pool/slide is dry, far and not connected, nor near where most people are having fun. The baby pool/slide is really a disappointment! You will feel like you are not with the crowd as it is in an isolated place!
6. The equipment like phone and lamps are ancient. The gray phone is already turning yellow. They need to replace old things.
7. If there is a party going on next to the pool with loud music, it can be heard up in the rooms.
Positive comments:
1. The hotel room is huge! I suggest, ask for a room with a balcony so you can enjoy the view at night.
2. The swimming pool is perfect for small people as the water height is not high
3. The hotel location is nice, which is next to the beach.
4. The jacuzzi is good though a bit scary if you are alone in the room.
5. The lady Indian Director is an asset who sits at the reception! She is super accommodating and responds to queries and requests right away.
Bini Panicker and her team are highly professional and always make sure that we feel at home, always a pleasure to meet them. I highly recommend the place.
The All Inclusive package does not include the majority of activities listed on the website. Very misleading. For example, mini golf is £40 per hour for a family of four. Needless to say, we have not seen anyone playing mini golf so far after one week's stay.
Kid's club is also very disappointing. If you are under the impression that you will be able to leave your child for an hour or two for supervised play, you are mistaken.
There are also significant renovations ongoing at the hotel which makes relaxing in your room during the day impossible due to the loud drilling.
There appears to be plenty of high quality alternatives in the UAE so do not waste your time here.
Beaches are great. This s the only place in UAE where we can see and feel the waves.
Awesome pools and recreational areas.
