Decent budget option for family and long stay. In 2012 Sarginson Department of Tourism, the apartment was awarded the title "hotel of the year".
Built: 2008
Located along the scenic waterfront of Sharjah al Beheira, 20 km from Sharjah airport and Dubai international airport.
Consists of one 30-storey modern building with 264 apartments, there are rooms for smokers and disabled access.
Total area: 1 770 m2
Beach: Shuttle bus to the beach hotel Sharjah Beach Hotel goes 1 time a day (with reservation). Guests enjoy beach and pool at hotel Sharjah Beach Hotel, the approximate cost of 45 dirham per day per adult and AED 25 per day per child. Sandy beach 3 km away (3rd coastline). The beach is 60 m. the Approximate cost of using municipal beach is 45 dirham per adult and 25 dirham for a child. Umbrellas, chairs - for a fee.

Note: alcoholic beverages are not available!
When you arrive at the hotel will collect a Deposit of approximately 500 dirham for the whole period of stay. The amount of the Deposit is returned to DHS.
The hotel has no English speaking staff. Attention! Non-Smoking in all rooms is forbidden!

We were sent here by the airport due to a delayed flight. The hotel and rooms are outdated, and everything is quite old. However, it’s clean and tidy. We had both breakfast and dinner—there wasn’t a lot of food, but it was tasty. The managers at the reception were extremely pleasant and accommodating

There are insects in the room, the floor is dirty, and the sales manager is a fraud. He attracts customers with a tempting long-term stay price, but we are surprised by a price increase when extending the booking for a few more days.

Worst experience ever ! I stayed for 11 nights starting from 31/07/2024, having paid for a full month in advance. Due to an unexpected family situation, I informed the Sales Manager, Mr. Francis, who confirmed that we could leave early with a refundable rate.
Since then, I have been in continuous communication with the hotel via email and WhatsApp, and I was repeatedly assured that the refund had been approved and would be processed. However, despite these assurances, I have yet to receive the refund.
Additionally, during our stay, we encountered multiple issues with the room’s cleanliness, as well as the condition of the service apartment. The housekeeping staff entered our room despite a "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed. Furthermore, the kitchen appliances were very old and not properly cleaned, which added to our discomfort.
I have also come across several reviews on Google Maps mentioning similar delays in refunds, which unfortunately reflect poorly on the hotel's reputation. Such experiences negatively impact trust and confidence in the Golden Tulip brand. Without a timely resolution, I regret to say that neither my family, friends, nor I would consider staying at any Golden Tulip hotel in the future.

I had a fantastic stay overall. The room was nice and pleasant, but the front office staff lacked warmth and seemed robotic. The overall stay was still very good. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into account to improve their service in the future.

The room's floor is not covered well with carpets.

The room was very spacious, although a bit dated. The kitchenette was adequate and the washing machine was a plus for me. There was daily housekeeping which was nice. My only complaint was a smell coming from the drainage in the en suite bathroom which was remedied by my husband by pouring water into it from time to time. Otherwise, the hotel is in a good location by the lagoon and the many restaurants around it. Plus there is a 24/7 Carrefour and Life Pharmacy on the ground floor of the building. Reception personnel were very helpful.

Nice location and quiet hotel. You have a carrefour hyper market in the same building 24hours and other shops and pharmacies. Yes, pharmacies not only one. A casual restaurants are only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the food is fantastic and affordable. The rate is affordable and reasonable enough. No regrets.

Great location! Convenient and within walking distance of almost everything.
Room size is larger than average. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Service, especially housekeeping is good - staff are friendly and diligent. Special mention of Aijaz, a very pleasant and committed member of the housekeeping staff - regular and neat in his work.

Clean Rooms, clean washroom, perfect location. One can visit nearby areas , sightseeing as well. Spectacular view from top floor. Hotel service is good. Fantastic and yummy buffet. Delicious food, all types of food available in buffet. Very polite and welcoming staff and working members.

Everything was good and great. The food, the service all was good. Everyone was super helpful. The F&B manager Mr. Joy was really sweet to us and he cared so much which we do appreciate. We just wished for a valet parking. Other than that it was awesome.
