My son enjoyed his stay mostly because of the pool. However, there is still room for improvement. When we arrived, we had to request slippers and a face towel, which should have already been prepared before check-in. Additionally, we called four times to request an iron before leaving for an outdoor activity, but the housekeeping didn't come. When we left, we asked the reception to have the housekeeping leave the iron and clean the room, but they only left the iron. We had to call two more times for them to send the housekeeping to clean the room. Also, the breakfast buffet options were limited. Despite this, it was still an okay stay and the staff were friendly.

Not recommended for family as the room was dimly lit and with very little light or bright overhead lighting. The cabinets and furniture looked quite old and worn, and the telephone looked ancient and is not functioning. The sofas near the bar was very dusty. Also the worst parking way, it is very tight making it challenging for vehicles to maneuver safely.

Do not be fooled by the misleading positive reviews. These all are fake. This hotel is far from what you'd expect from a decent hotel—it's one of the worst I've ever experienced . This place is definitely not family-friendly. There's a nightclub right next to the hotel and another one on the 5th floor, making it impossible to get any sleep with the blaring music all night long.
Our check-in was delayed by three hours, and despite my pleas, they took forever to prepare our room while my family had to wait for hours. Once we finally got in, we found the phones in the room were non-functional, there was termite damage on the bathroom doors, and the rooms had a horrible, unbearable smell.
In short, this hotel is a disaster. Even if you were offered a stay for free, it wouldn’t be worth it.

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at the Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira. We enjoyed a delicious meal that included biryani, a mixed Arabic platter, and butter chicken with parathas. The food was exceptionally tasty – a pleasant surprise compared to typical hotel meals. I highly recommend trying the in-house menu if you stay here; the culinary offerings are definitely worth it.

Grand Excelsior Hotel provided a stellar experience, highlighted by impeccable service and luxurious accommodations. From the moment we arrived, the attentive staff ensured our comfort and satisfaction. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, Grand Excelsior Hotel exceeded expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in the area.

This is the worst experience with this hotel. I think, I made a big mistake booking this hotel via Agoda app. I would say Agoda manipulate people showing fake reviews.
Darkness everywhere in corridors and rooms. All the devices like Tv, phone, air conditioner controller were from ancient times, even I found a Radio there in the room.
Noisy environments, multiple disco clubs are there in different floors of the hotel. Girls were visiting the rooms and floors. This is the main business of this hotel they are focused. They don't mean with guests staying in rooms.
