PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport
Melbourne, Arrival Drive 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool, Heated pool
The room was super comfy with a great view over the runway, and I had a wonderful morning in the spa before a very leisurely five-minute walk to the terminal
Excellent location with easy access to airport, room for improvement for room service (call reception for some forks and spoons but no one come).
Super near the airport! Just a bridge away from the airport which is great if you have an early flight. Though there may be noise from plane arrival and departure.
Second stay here and very happy with the room and room service we enjoyed. The rooms are really spacious with great views of the airport
Friendly welcoming staff. Checkin and checkout process very quick and smooth. Restaurant staff friendly and food was amazing.
Good hotel to stay if you have an early flight the next day and next to the airport. But there’s some stains on the table.

Sauna is never working when I go
The pool always smells when I go
Terms are nice
Staff are fabulous
Used the swimming pool even in winter. Not too cold and was enjoyable
The hotel’s quite near to the tram station which makes it’s easy for you to travel around the CBD. No water provided so you have to prepare for this. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Great stay for a short visit!
The rooms are basic but clean and quiet enough. Breakfast buffet was included in our room price. It was simple but ample (all you can eat cereal, toast, scrambled eggs and baked beans). Overall good value for the price
Clean, comfy bed with modern bathroom however the floor quite slippery when wet it needs bathroom rail it's risky & dangerous to fall which is safety & health issues I hope the management will look into this matter
Great value and convenient location opposite Spencer street station. Hotel decor was a bit dated but we did have a comfortable stay. We had a room facing out the back of the building

The room was great and the lounge was excellent. Staff was generally very friendly. The lobby entrance isn't so welcoming and not all lifts were working at the beginning of the stay
Right in the middle of town, but removed from the hustle and bustle. The hotel staff made me feel very special and looked after from the time I set foot in the lobby
Room was high quality and modern, with a lot of nice amenities. Breakfast on Level 14 was amazing - with a mimosa and bloody mary bar! Highly recommended
It's the perfect location for exploring the city
We had a nice few nights here, nice room with a great 🚿 shower. Not a great view from the room though. Staff friendly & helpful, breakfast ample. Pity our A/C broke down on our last night there but got a fan in it's place
Very well located for seeing and doing everything in Melbourne. The room we had was clean and well furnished. The TVs large and easy to plug in my chomecast (which is annoyingly often an issue!)

Very good location, clean, good services, we got the queen room the position of the bed and TV is a bit questionable tho
The reception staff were very nice and helpful. Fire alarm went off one night at 8. We had to walk down fire escape 15 flights. False alarm due to apartments next door, part of the same hotel
The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed
Very happy staying at the Grand Chancellor. Close to just about anywhere we needed to go around town. Happy to be upgraded to a King room when we arrived at the hotel. Had a drink in the bar for happy hour
The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city and just a short walk to the free tram zone, which made it very convenient to explore Melbourne
I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne

Restaurant had good range of food and beverages on offer at reasonable prices and the quality was excellent. Wait staff were also exceptional. All up i really enjoyed my stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back
They then brought up a little cake with candle which just made my sons day. Such friendly & thoughtful staff at reception that really made our experience so memorable and happy
My son mentioned it was his birthday when checking in & when we went back up to our room that afternoon there were balloons & chocolates with a happy birthday card
We stayed at Novotel St Kilda last night and the staff there were so lovely
Great location with a relaxed beach side feel, easy walk to shops, cafes and pier. The hotel is clean and tidy although dated. Lacks a bit in professional service for a four star hotel in my opinion
Extra pillows and blankets provided. Check-in was fast and no fuss. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, for example had an issue with my shower but once reported it was fixed within the hour

Overall the experience at the Mercure Albert park was good. Pros - good location to trams, Albert Park and St Kilda and from the city. Beds were soft with clean sheets, tea & coffee facilities were good
Cons - Staff could have been a bit more friendlier, the shower goes hot and cold, we had room 2203 and there was noises in the vent as you walk in the door, pillows were hard and I had you only get 2 pillows for one bed, I had to ring housekeeping for another 2 pillows
It’s an excellent hotel in general, beautiful lake view, close to city and tram, quiet environment. To be honest, it gives an old vibe considering the year while it’s price worthy
Nice location, staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel room is basic nothing too extraordinary. Good stay for a night.
I would stay here again as for the price it was worth it and the cons are only minor
We left out glass cups when we checked out, when we came back they were kept

Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport by IHG

The night of check-in, the desk agent informed us that on site breakfast would be available and signs in the elevator advertised breakfast with no mention of a fee
Couldn’t be happier with our stay before our flight. Location, amenities, the bed even were all excellent. Any time I need to fly out of Melbourne I will always stay here
Perfect locaton, lovely dining area with great food. Room was clean and comfy with everythig you need. Free shuttle to airport which is less than 3min drive away
A good choice,
Staff are welcoming and friendly, rooms are clean and tidy - bathroom is dated - however they are clean and good. Great beds and love how you provide both "Soft" and "Firm" Pillow - monogramed - love it
I got there 1 hour early but was given a room right away. Angie on the front desk was super friendly and accommodating
At AUD$234/night is was expensive but seeing that i had a 10am flight it was worth the low stress transition

Hotel is good for the price. Not a 5-star resort but it has all the features covered for a great stay! Nice rooms, good outdoor/pool area and a close walk/drive to Chapel St for great shopping and food!
The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate not only me and my wife, but also the entire group of international delegates who stayed here for our International Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses
Hotel has friendly staff, Premier room was large, clean, good shower & bed with great view. Pool area is good, water temperature was a bit chilly, but the spa was warm!
Buffet breakfast was also good, with sufficient variety to satisfy most people. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay within close proximity of the city
It was very large and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious and bountiful. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would stay here again if I traveled to Melbourne again
We stayed a Friday & Saturday night and loved it. Close to the city by tram, 10 minute drive to Chadstone shopping centre, opposite Albert Park Lake & a 1. 6km walk to Fitzroy St for restaurants

Sauna, spa, pool and gym were great. The rooms were very clean and relatively modern, but were missing a few extra touches that I expect from high-end hotels
The concierge staff was very understanding since we had A Lot of luggage with us. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are not usually crowded. So atleast I worked on my hydrophobia there
Concierge Service is commendable, Mr Rhett Constantine helped me to Book my MCG tour, really thankful to him, i was struggling to get reservation due to national holiday, but Rhett helped me too book the appointment
Very nice place to stay. I am a regular here. Very clean with very friendly staff. Amenities are all there and in good repair. I would recommend to anyone.
It was a pleasant experience staying here. Proximity to nearby locations is great
Perfectly located with great views of the lake and the bay. Restaurant serves a great breakfast and the staff throughout the hotel cannot be faulted. Friendly, helpful and respectful, they are all wonderful

Pool was good although in desperate need of a spruce up and upgrade
Wonderful staff went above and beyond, the food was absolutely delicious and the rooms were presented lovely with a very comfortable bed
Followed covid precautions very well and had excellent strategies to work around the requirements for restrictions although still ensuring we had an enjoyable stay. Awesome views from our room and hallways with windows
The food was delicious, the rooms were always clean and well presented, and the amenities provided a fantastic place to work/unwind
I stayed here for a while and it was an incredible experience. The staff are very friendly, lovely, and approachable
10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone and I look forward to coming back here again in the future

We tried to get towels to go down to the pool about 8:30 and told that they were closing it even though the hotel information states 10pm (apparently they needed to update that)
It was in close proximity to many Melbourne landmarks, restaurants and activities
Reception do provide paid parking within the apartment but even that was almost abysmal. We went right to the top before we found a park, all other parks were taken by other guests or the buildings permanent occupants
Myself and my two teens spent a night here. We stayed on the 12th floor and the room was beautiful, the balcony was large and gave us wonderful views from the ocean to the city
The bed was super comfortable and it has to be one of the only hotels I’ve stayed in that actually descaled their kettles ( huge bonus for someone who is grossed out by hotel kettle stories)
We enjoyed the pool in the early hours of the morning before check out
The pool was good too, not full of chlorine like most other pools instead had a salt water vibe like the beach. Minor issue with the cleaning however was easily fixed when we notified reception
I’d definitely recommend staying here

Very nice hotel, reception people is outstanding. Very affordable. Location is top notch. Just right downtown Melbourne. Many places around to eat and drink. Transportation? Just across the street of the station.
Such a beautiful hotel and fabulous location! What's not to like? Shops, transport, food, everything in the close vicinity of the hotel. Very cosy hotel as well!
During my stayed on 9 Jul 2025 to 12 Jul 2025, I am very happy and comfortable. The location is very convenient. Will stay this hotel again if come to Melbourne. Hope can get good prices for the next visit
We had a fabulous stay at the Savoy, very reasonably priced with a gorgeous art deco boutique feel. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed, and every staff member we spoke to was very helpful
Very nice stay, surprisingly quiet considering it’s next to the train station, very clean, will come back.

Very poor lighting in the room and the bedside ones kept flashing. Very small room not enough desk space. For some weird reason had a facecloth instead of a handtowell
Conveniently close (as in walking distance) to Southern Cross station and Sky Bus terminal for airport transfers. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
There was also no water, but you could buy some from reception or the 7/11 down the street. Shower was good, hot water and good pressure. I had an issue the first night, but quickly fixed
Had to go back down and ask about laundry and WiFi facilities as there was no info in the room only a list of an outdated mini bar menu as the was both mini bar in the room
The location is very central, close to the Southern Cross Station. The rooms were okay, but had no safe. You need to rent one on the first level near the luggage storage
When servicing our room everyday everything but the toilet paper was replaced I had to ask the housekeeper for 1 eventually. Very dusty top of the wardrobe was gross

The staff were very professional and hospitable. The facilities including the pool was very nice but too cold. The room was very nice but the double couch was very uncomfortable
We stayed at Mantra couple weeks ago. We enjoyed our stay at Mantra. The room was well presented but not very clean(dusty bed side lump and water marks on the shower screen). Good enough for how much we paid
The Chinese manager (sorry I forgot her name) helped us with our luggages even we never ask for help. She come to room help us with the wash machine. She greet us on the street after work
We will definitely back to this hotel for this 5 star service
It would've been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the lackluster plumbing in the apartment; the taps in the bathroom splashed water over the sink, the shower was only capable of releasing either scalding hot or freezing cold water, the shower head was so low that I kept hitting my head against it and the washing machine was incredibly loud
Comfortable place located in the heart of the Central Business District. A convenient 10-minute walk to Melbourne Museum and Melbourne Central. The Free Tourist Tram is just a few walking steps away from the hotel

I was welcomed warmly to the hotel, they sorted out my car, looked after my luggage and provided a stunning room complete with soothing spa bath
Absolutely incredible service, beautiful rooms, great food - will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Melbourne.
Umesh is the best concierge I have ever encountered at a hotel. Polite, great memory & goes above and beyond to make your stay convenient.
The people at reception are lovely. Our room is actually two rooms with a huge bathroom and really do bath. We have views over a small park with trees near our windows. There is a small balcony off the lounge area
The beds are really comfortable and huge, with crisp clean white sheets. The bathroom is spacious and supplied with luxury toiletries. Nespresso pod coffee and T2 tea are provided daily
There is even a table and chairs and a sink & microwave. The pool is down walkways and up stairs and after checking it out first, I'm not sure about using it. Lovely place and wonderful stay

as centre as possible. very comfortable bed, pillows, easy to check in and check out. Clean
Check-in was smooth and the staff were genuinely friendly, creating a great first impression. The hotel’s location is ideal—nestled between two major roads within the CBD’s free tram zone
It was an unexpected breach of privacy, and I hope the hotel takes note and reinforces respect for guest preferences. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was highly satisfying
One pillow had a visible mold stain, which raised a hygiene concern. I had my Do Not Disturb sign displayed throughout my stay, yet housekeeping entered and cleaned the room on my final day
My room was on the 9/F and top floor, spacious and well-appointed. Though the hotel is surrounded by buildings and doesn’t offer any view, it’s peaceful and practical
The combination of its prime location, spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and friendly service makes this hotel a dependable and comfortable choice

Lovely balcony looking out through the trees onto green grounds. The restaurant was excellent; good dishes and excellent service. It is also gorgeous and has plenty of room to spread out and relax
My husband and I had dinner with friends at the Royce last night. It is one of the most elegant restaurants we have been to
Love the Royce. Modern, clean and great service. Super close proximity to the city. Would definitely stay again.
An oasis at the end of busy days. The suite was so comfortable and spacious and the team extremely helpful and welcoming throughout. If we return to Melbourne, The Royce will definitely be our go-to
The Royce is on the level of some of the best hotels I have stayed in. Think the Surrey and the Mark in New York, but at a fraction of the price. The room was gorgeous Art Deco modern
A stunning hotel only minutes walk from the CBD. Blown away by the beautiful interior and amenities this hotel has. Exceptional design met with exceptional service

I stayed over a week and found the service really good. Always pleasant and polite and I was treated with respect, like being in London. Room was fine, I went cheapest option and it had what I needed
Nice quiet area close to train and high st shops. Room is tidy and clean with private toilet and shower and shared kitchen, I think it used to be students accommodation
i smell smoke I think through toilet, other guests shouldn't be doing this or I suggest to hotel management to have a separate floor for those who do
Affordable fare compared to prices of other hotels around $175 for 3 nights. WiFi not free but $5 a day, $20 a week
Great facilities on hand and good location! Slight odour in room though, like it was on a remote island
Good position, service ok but room cleaning will be better.

I stayed for just one day and it was ok. I booked a hotel for a concert, but there were no rooms available because I had an early flight. After checking in and putting down my luggage, I started my journey
When I came back to pick up my luggage after 2 o'clock, I got the key directly. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the concert venue. The weather is nice and cool, so it’s quite comfortable to walk there
The room was fairly clean, except that the bedsheets had some old marks. They were not dirty, but the white color looked a little dirty at first glance
It is very convenient to watch concerts in Melbourne. It takes only ten minutes to walk to
It had great service and the room was ok. The room felt very dated/old.

Very close to the main offices in the CBD, easy team access for someone who's never ridden the teams in Melbourne before. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bed is very comfortable. 7 eleven is right next door.
I was upgraded to a top floor apartment with spectacular views. A bit too spectacular for someone with my fear of heights. I didn't find it an issue, but I was high up
Great for overnight or long stays in Melbourne. It's the quality of a hotel with the facilities of a serviced apartment. Fantastic view, gym and facilities.
Great location, although a little noisy when the trains pass by. The apartment was serviced everyday. It was very clean, well equipt and comfortable
Staff were friendly and there are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. It's a 5 minute walk from the main bus and train stations. Lovely stay and will definitely stay again when we're in Melbourne
