Mirage Hotel

I go to the hotel and ask if they have rooms. They tell me no.....so I go on booking and order a room, and suddenly they have a room available.

Stay classy Mirage. I can only imagine with this incompetency that this hotel is just a giant money laundering scheme. Never seen a hotel here in Bulgaria treat customers in such a way and blatantly lie about not having rooms.

The hotel lost its four stars at least 10 years ago. It has two elevators that can accommodate 2 people for 13 floors. The old rooms have not been renovated and with air conditioning without power with a heat of 35-37 degrees. We were there the day we arrived in Bulgaria and they gave us a trout for dinner that could not be peeled or removed from the dry bones. And also on the last night of our stay, they gave us a bowl of lettuce with some strips of carrot, with nothing else in the salad and as a main course a shredded fish and they left plastic cups so that we could use a dispensing machine (similar to the that we have in our homes and offices), every time you got up from the table to put water in a plastic cup (not a glass). Let's go a disaster. Do not book even if they give it to you as a gift or offer it to you for €5.

It's far away of the photos posted for Apartment here. We rent an apartment and there's no second room as it says. Too many chairs for 2 people and not a single window that can be open! There's no air in there only poor air condition 😢 in the bar only bottles vodka Finland, I suppose they sponsor the hotel or something... also the staff are quite unfriendly and make you feel like an intruder... definitely not worth the price. Only good thing could be the view of the higher floors.

One of the (if not) the worst experiences in a restaurant I've had in my life. The food quality was.. let's just say dog food is 100x better. I got sick be cause of it and heard a feedback from other guests which had similar symptoms as me (don't want to go into details, since some people might get disgusted).

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!! There is a big window in the room that doesn't even open, I have no idea why I can't get air. The service was terrible as I had to go 5 times to have my keycard reset so I could get into my room. There is only one elevator that takes 5 minutes each to open or close its door. The bathroom was moldy and didn't have a siphon, so all the poop collected on the floor smelled musty. The toilet is horrible and you can smell something you pooped in 9 hours before. The location is terrible, because to get to the beach you have to find public transport. If you're hungry, I'll have to look for food all the way across town. I have no words. The attitude of the staff was extremely disrespectful. Not to every one of the staff, but to today's "YES" woman. Let's not forget that for this price there should have been a pool at least. NEVER VISIT HOTEL MIRAGE unless you want to ruin your holiday. It was simply money misspent.

That’s a first - a 5 star hotel where you are not allowed to breathe air. The windows cannot be opened, the AC is from the 80s and is noisier than your father’s sneezes, the smell is bad and everything is old. Never visiting again. Don’t do the mistake I made, folks.

I mean, it could be a four star hotel if it was 4/20. We got the - get this - "VIP" room on the fourth floor. It basically resembled a cheap Vegas motel. The worst part is that we felt dirty just being there (you know the feeling). The floor had weird burn and stain marks as well as odd loose debris. The bed quilt had what looked like an old blood stain. The bathtub had a large yellow spot which seemed perhaps due to urine which had stayed there too long for their cheap cleaning supplies to get rid of. The shower kept oscillating between frigid cold and searing hot water every 15 seconds. I was going to use the gym and sauna, but I decided that my health was more important.

The "tough" security guy had a permanent scowl on his face as if we were doing something wrong just by being there, which I admit, we were wrong.

We didn't bother with the free breakfast for obvious reasons.

And upon checkout we didn't get a chance to share our feedback (not that it would have mattered). The staff doesn't care how your stay there was.
