Where to stay in Plovdiv

The room was gross. It looked like it was still stuck in the 1970s-80s. Rooms can definitely be updated. The front desk staff were extremely rude. Gossiping as you walk up to the counter talking about people. It looks bad and is a horrible representation of the hotel considering they’re the first people you see.

Grand Hotel… great location and excellent staff. So happy to make every guest welcome… and it’s a big place. Some details in so many rooms can get missed, but for large groups it is epic. Very central to great hospitality too.

Park hotel Sankt Peterburg in Plovdiv is one of the best hotel in the city. Incredible hotel as regards the facilities, interior design restaurant. The attraction of the hotel is the movable roof on the facing floor at the restaurant. It is really nice to dance under the sky and starts during the early evening or daytime during the day if you join an evet. Service very good and supportive.

I was visiting the restorant! It is special place. The second floor and the opening roof are incredible. The service was poor, but taking in to account the size of the event with 760 guests, it was acceptable. I'm not sure, if it works for family dining. The parking space in front of the hotel is restricted. I did not have the possibility to check the rooms. In general was good!

The staff at the restaurant was very rude and vain. After being shown two different rooms, we chose to stay at another hotel. The latches were missing and it looked like someone went kicking doors.

Furniture is old and outdated, the climate control system did not work. The carpeting had a very cheap feel to it and the bathroom sink was cracked. The lighting was not very bright and the nearby busy street produces noises all night. The room is not very big. There are some nice things like the indoor swimming pool but overall I don't think it is worth it.

Fascinating! Location is so perfect! And the specious hallways and lobby reminds me of a castle! The breakfast was so rich, despite the fact I am on a special diet- everything of the Buffet fits me perfectly!

Wonderful "all in" hotel & spa complex, great service (incl. taking care of the children) and impressive restaurant - we went for à la carte but the buffet looked amazing as well. It's worth paying extra for one of their VIP apartments, we will definitely be back!

Great hotel with absolutely stunning kids park! There is a donkey and little ducks! The restorant had good food, the pools were clean, the staff were attentive! I never used the spa, but there was nice inside pool and jacuzzi, good for winter months.

Spacious rooms; however, the bed was not comfortable at all. Pricey for what it is trying to offer. Whisky room was disappointingly small and cluttered. The waiter was totally rude in his service. A very unassuming hotel in the first instance, tucked away from the road. It has free parking and a Tesla supercharger onsite (which is free to charge at!), as well as a wonderfully laid out breakfast with a wide selection of choices. Rooms are comfy, spacious, and clean. A very quiet, clean, and respectful site. It's a bit confusing with the booking system ( Online), but once you get through the booking system it's good. Clean bathrooms, showers, and individual pitches. A Hotel and glamping with a games area cooking facilities grey water and fresh water also available. Very nice.

We were in a motorhome and stopped here for 4 nights. It is a very nice campsite but relies on QR codes, which not everyone is familiar with, or likes. The washing machine takes 4 hours!! That needs to be addressed. Transport to the city is perfect and only costs 1 lev each way. A really good site. The website cannot access prices.

Brilliant location for vising Plovdiv. Only one sanitary (1 x loo, 1 x shower) open in winter, but thankfully only a couple of campers on site when we were here. Facilities are good. Book ahead to gain access to site via QR code. Had some issues with the booking as only Gmail account would be recognised to book.

Recently renovated in the city centre. Rooms and (tiny) bathroom are very clean and convenient. Staff is very friendly. But the cleaning ladies were so loud between 14 PM - 16 PM. If you had problem with your nose and feel everything, there is some strange smell in the room. And they dont had place where to park the car. But everything else is perfect, except this things.

Very decent and comfortable hotel where an excellent sightview with extra options for biking and jogging at the creek area. If you have a car or no limitation with transportation, Şandmark Creek might be the best option to stay in Plovdiv.

Ideally located for people arriving in Plovdiv by train or bus, next to Markovo Tepe Mall and the Hall of Culture and at easy walking distance to central town inc. Kapana with its many shops an the historic old town.

Stayed there one night. I see what they tried to do with the glass bathroom, it does look kinda cool. But I can see it being an issue if I shared the room with someone other than my partner. We stayed at the 5th floor and when we came back to our room at night (around midnight), there was an intense foul smell coming from the bathroom. The whole room smelled like sewers. Opening the window did help...

Fantastic quality of communication and great English speakers. Late checkin is easily managed, and generally, any assistance will be extended. Quiet overnight but no breakfast service. The High Street has several places to choose from to resolve this, though. A great solution if you are looking to stay in the centre of Plovdiv.

The location of this hotel is very accessible both from the near highway and the main city roads. It also has a big commercial centre with lots of shops, offices and activities

I chose it because it's located near the industrial zone. Nice atmosphere in the lobby and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was pretty good too. The room was nice, bed was firm, but the decor was absurd. Like someone had a lot of money to waste on superfluous carpentry.

3 stars ranked, but very comfortable, the staff was friendly, well equiped for corona times, the rooms are clean and large. The breakfast is very good, especially the cheese pie. Close to the Old Center, less than 10 minutes by taxi, which is very cheap, 4.34 leva.

Typical 3/4 star city hotel. Don’t expect too much. Rooms are not so big, but spacious enough. Service is good. The food in the restaurant is ok. Most fo the time there is enough parking space in front or around the property so this is a big plus. There is a park nearby and depending on the room there could be some noise coming from the nearby carting track.

The hotel is located just next to one of the parks in Plovdiv, however it's not really the best place to go in this city. The rooms are OK but not always clean, they seems to be warren-out . The restaurant and especially the breakfast were not very nice. There is also no dedicated parking lot so you have find a place on your own.
