Where to stay in Plovdiv

The view was great. Breakfast wide and good quality. The only bad thing was that there was a wedding and the music was so high till 2A.M. difficult to sleep.

Spacious and clean room. Convenient location. Staff were also responsive and quick. Overall, very nice hotel with a perfect location.

The room was gross. It looked like it was still stuck in the 1970s-80s. Rooms can definitely be updated. The front desk staff were extremely rude. Gossiping as you walk up to the counter talking about people. It looks bad and is a horrible representation of the hotel considering they’re the first people you see.

Grand Hotel… great location and excellent staff. So happy to make every guest welcome… and it’s a big place. Some details in so many rooms can get missed, but for large groups it is epic. Very central to great hospitality too.

One of the best Spa Hotels that we have visited recently where the customer service is outstanding and the Spa was included in the price of the room! Upon arrival at the hotel the Staff advised us that they are giving us a free upgrade to a premium room. We had booked a standard room so that was a very pleasant surprise for us. I was impressed from this hotel. First of all the rooms were big, cozy and they had a balcony with a view of the canal. Second of all the food was amazing. My favorite one was the carbonara. You have to order it. The service was polite. The breakfast was luxury and finally it is really cheap. My favorite hotel I ever visited.

The hotel is in a decent location. It's about a half mile walk to the main area of the pedestrian walk. The rooms are a bit run down, tired and not kept up. The beds are not very comfortable, very hard. The bathroom has an old-fashioned tub, so you have to be careful getting in and out. The buffet breakfast was very average. The pool was nice.

This hotel has a very good location, right in the ancient city, opposite the pedestrian street. The hotel environment is very good. There is an open-air swimming pool on the first floor with many people swimming and sunbathing. There is a bar next to it. The service is warm and thoughtful. The only drawback is that the facilities are a bit old.

You can watch the sunset over all of Plovdiv and its unique view.

The hotel is ok at all, but i have some remarks. The room was ok, but the bathroom wasn't. The shower rossete was filled with fist of hair and the valves of the sink were spoiled

Park hotel Sankt Peterburg in Plovdiv is one of the best hotel in the city. Incredible hotel as regards the facilities, interior design restaurant. The attraction of the hotel is the movable roof on the facing floor at the restaurant. The room fully matched its description. Enough space, clean and tiny. Drinking water, tea pot and espresso machine were available. Iron and ironing board were also available. Breakfast was excellent, with wide variety of choices. Location was good- 5-7 min walk from the old city.

The hotel was under renovations when I booked and I was not notified. I was not able to roll my luggage from the entry to the elevator, which would not have been an issue except I was never offered any assistance from the desk staff. Best hotel in Plovdiv with great location and already they have Hausbrandt espresso.

I chose it because it's located near the industrial zone. Nice atmosphere in the lobby and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was pretty good too. The room was nice, bed was firm, but the decor was absurd. Like someone had a lot of money to waste on superfluous carpentry.

3 stars ranked, but very comfortable, the staff was friendly, well equiped for corona times, the rooms are clean and large. The breakfast is very good, especially the cheese pie. Close to the Old Center, less than 10 minutes by taxi, which is very cheap, 4.34 leva.

The hotel is really nice, the personel from the reception also. Tasty drinks at the bar where they have also a terrace. Nice location. And if you are a karting passionate person, in the front of the hotel, there is a very nice karting track with very nice and speedy kartings that needs to be tried. The location is perfect, in a walking distance to many of the must see sights of the Old Town. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Great hotel with absolutely stunning kids park! There is a donkey and little ducks! The restorant had good food, the pools were clean, the staff were attentive! I never used the spa, but there was nice inside pool and jacuzzi, good for winter months.

A very quiet, clean, and respectful site. It's a bit confusing with the booking system ( Online), but once you get through the booking system it's good. Clean bathrooms, showers, and individual pitches. A Hotel and glamping with a games area cooking facilities grey water and fresh water also available. Very nice.

We were in a motorhome and stopped here for 4 nights. It is a very nice campsite but relies on QR codes, which not everyone is familiar with, or likes. The washing machine takes 4 hours!! That needs to be addressed. Transport to the city is perfect and only costs 1 lev each way. A really good site. The website cannot access prices.

Brilliant location for vising Plovdiv. Only one sanitary (1 x loo, 1 x shower) open in winter, but thankfully only a couple of campers on site when we were here. Facilities are good. Book ahead to gain access to site via QR code. Had some issues with the booking as only Gmail account would be recognised to book.

I don't know what it's like in a 5 star hotel, but I think this is the best 4 star hotel I've ever stayed at considering all aspects of comfort. Cleanliness in the smallest detail, everything is checked and rearranged. Fine modern hotel in a good location. This hotel just works and serves great buffet breakfasts with wide food choices.

The room is not so big, quite too narrow for 2 people to fit in. Breakfast is good with varieties of food available. The frontdesk staff are good except the night shift GSAa that seemed like they didn't understand clients situations for late check ins.

This was our second stay at this Holiday Inn. The first time was in the spring a few years ago. That was a great stay. This year, we came in the summer, and we would not return to this hotel during the summer season. Unfortunately, the AC used at the hotel is a central AC so it does not matter how much you try to change the temperature in the room, we could not get it to cool below 29 or 28 degrees...

All Staff was very attentive and the hotel is very clean and tidy (10/10) reception have a good knowledge of English, some staff have limited English, this does not deter there ability's and are keen to assist and get help as and when needed. This is a great little hotel with the most wonderful staff. Within minutes of arrival I injured my hand in a freak accident. Ina in reception volunteered to take me to A&E at the local hospital. Everything is good except for the second building where the lift doesnt work.

Reasonably clean. Comfy bed. Still the AC below was damaged and made loud rattling noises all 3 nights we stayed despite that we informed reception. The hotel told us they thought the issue was fixed. So there must have been some miscommunication between the staff. The restaurant was good and service as well.

Fantastic location in the pedestrian zone with really easy access to everything central Plovdiv has to offer. Parking is available close-by for 25bgn (around €12.50) which is definitely worth it. Comfortable room, and the staff are always ready to help with anything. The room was very clean and lacked nothing, and it is very good value for money. It is on the main pedestrian shopping street, which is very convenient for exploring and shopping. The only downside for some might be that there is no elevator.

This iconic building of my beatiful city of birth is still OK yet the interior is very old-fashioned. If I was a tourist I would not prefer this one for my stay but the other popular hotels in the city ("Landmark" is a great one).

One word : "Magnificent" ( when there's not a wedding taking place) from the the moment you enter the front door we felt transported to places of beauty and mystery in all its details. Don't over sleep breakfast is romantic and delightful good ( the grape juice is great) *only down side is there book a lot of wedding which lock up the better rooms and the whole hotel including the resturant.

A very nice hotel to sleep, eat and relax for a business stay or to explore the great city of Plovdiv for a couple of days. Everything is great and comfortable in the room, clean bathroom, nice bed, tv and climate control. The restaurant serves delicious meals and the breakfast is excellent. Name it and it is available in the buffet for breakfast. And the staff are really friendly and helpful.

The hotel needs some maintenance but nevertheless it's quite good. It's located right across the street from Markovo Tepe mall, and 5 minutes walk from the city center. It is a decent hotel (3stars) near the center of the city of Plovdiv. Clean but old. The people working here are very friendly and polite. Breakfast typical but many choices that can give you the energy to start your day. If you have to use a taxi from down town to the hotel is about 3,5€ or about 7 leva. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The faucet in the shower was not working properly. Free parking. Wifi in the rooms was very unstable, I had to use 5g from my phone for work. It looks like the breakfast no longer served (or maybe there were no other guests). Receptionist was very helpful and directed me to a small cafe / local bakery in the store on the other side of the road.

What can I tell about this place, they try their best. Rooms are clean but not to clean, food is not the best, only thing great about this place is staff, they are super friendly. All in all an ok place to stay in.

Hotel is quite good and is at very perfect location. Tip: Never choose room 804. The room was hot like burning furnace due to direct exposure of sunlight. As Air conditionig doesn't work in winter, so Temperature in my room was 32 and outside was 12. Rest of the things were perfect.
